Only way of getting rid of bots is permabanning. Making legal stuff cheaper won’t work, bots will just have a new market of selling cheaper, not for that big of a price, but still for a profit. Only way of elimination is elimination, you see?
There is a certain point where you kill your competetion and make the product to a poor dog. In that case it is gold. Even chinese bots needs to pay for energy, rent for rooms and stuff.
Not sure if its worth running their machines 24/7 if they sell 1k gold for 0,2 dollar and ban risk included while, for example, AGS would offer gold for 0,5. The bots would search for a new product and most likely switch games since it is super easy for them to infest different places. Maybe other “services” would survive, shit like account sharing, boosting and stuff.
And yes, decrease the legal value of gold will work - it works in real life and it will work with artificial markets too. (cross reference: Mathias Binswanger, Economist from switzerland)
I understand where you’re coming from and we need better ways to deal with these but man your post rubs me the wrong way. No one has an obligation to report anything to you.
What I would like to ask AGS/SG is if it’s possible to post for auctioneers name? Or would thay violate some sort of privacy agreement?

Are those people or they just banning bots? I’ve never played Maple story (tbh I’ve only heard of it once) but I downloaded the spreadsheet to have a look and the in-game names are things like “**nw2ujd6y” and other random alphanumerics.
Looks like it’s either bots or the names are redacted for privacy is all.
Enjoying the game perfectly fine without swiping once here. Maybe it’s a you problem if you don’t enjoy the game. Swipers don’t affect MY gameplay at all but RMTers should still be perma’d.
Well I have a life to live, enjoy doing the same mind-numbing activities 10 hours a day in an attempt to keep up with the whales.
I played 10-12 hours a day on launch now I’ve been playing 2-4 hours a day with skipping some days and I’m ready for the Vykas Hardmode release next reset. Last 2-3 months I’ve played 2-4 hours a day. For reference I did Argos on the last day of Week 1 when I played 10-12 hours a day. I don’t even run dailies for mats on my alts and my main is still up to date. So not really sure what you imply by “keep up with the whales”. Why would I need to be 1500 right now when I’m perfectly fine at 1467 with having 2 alts at 1370, 1 at 1348 and 1 at 1310 for T3.

AGS cannot give information on how they fight RMT because… they aren’t fighting them.
dont be mistaken… they are “fighting” those RMT… the punishment getting worse on 2nd and 3th attempt up to permanent ban… 
after this statement (this past 2 month), there is aloooooooooooot 1450~1550++ with minimum 3x4 engrav, but the progress: roster ± 80, SH 6, 0 knowledge mech.
