Hey , i been playing Lost ark since release , and im still restricted.
My steam account is good, its an old account alot of games purchased over the years but im still restricted to personal trading on lost ark. Any way i can get this fix Asap? It sucks i will be banned from pretty much any interaction on the Market and everthing is fine on my end.
I wonder how many players like me have the same issue…
I tried to talk to support on steam they said go back to Lost ark support.
There are people trying to force the support to fix it for months already without success. :o(
Just another anti-bot feature that doesn’t work as intended and suffers from bugs apparently.

I’m in the same boat here. Restricted with tons of games on Steam already.
I won’t pay AGS to be allowed to use the AH, that’s stupid af. I love this game but I’m nowhere invested enough to pay to use such a basic functionality.
In all honesty, they can go fuck themselves, AGS is the worst game publisher I’ve ever seen on this planet. It’s not only about greediness, the moronic management they have shown since the release of Lost Ark is so pathetic it hurts.

Giving money to AGS who are doing all what they can do to make our experience painful by removing gold sources from everywhere and restricting our gameplay if we’re F2P ? No thanks.
I never had any money issue, neither any issue in paying for F2P videogames in general to support them, but I can’t see who, in their right mind, would want to support AGS after all they’re doing to make our experience miserable.

Bots are not so easy to handle as there is enough money to be made of.
Its the same that there exist aimbots for every shooter with enough playerbase.
ID verification is one big thing in mind, but not really doable.
But what they do now? Its great! People can just get the Steam Guard, which is anyways a good thing to protect your steam account with a 2FA. And this requires a mobile number.
Just look at the Reaper release. Gold/crystal exchange dropped nearly by half. Adventure tomb items from 1000g to 350g for some items, often to 50% less than before. I traded with those, so i can see that the bots had to adapt and have a harder time to make gold which is good for the game.
This step gives bots even a harder time than before and is another big and good step in the right direction.
There is no way for a program to spot if Cwjbdbwbsku or Chubadubadub is a real player or bot. But with a verification progress with a mobile number the amount of bots will again decrease.
The trusted status portion that was mention in the patch notes will only affect new accounts not existing accounts like yours. So, you should technically still be able to trade/ use the auction house / mail etc.
If prior to this update you weren’t able to do any of this, then try getting the steam guard, logging out of the steam platform, then logging in with the assistance of steam guard to see if that changes anything.
I’d reach back out to support with these new changes and see if there’s anything they can do on their end to investigate with your account now that the trusted status has changed slightly. I’ll look into things on my end as well. Sorry you’re still experiencing this!
