I would really appreciate the option to disable/reduce the gore

Sometimes my work has me reviewing video/pictures with violence and gore… When I play video games sometimes it’s nice to have a setting to turn off the gore.

I personally don’t mind it and it doesn’t have a strong influence over my decision to play the game. But, like you, I am interested in having more graphics/gameplay/socia/ui/interface settings… I feel it just makes the game better overall to allow the player to adjust the settings to their liking.

I’ve turned down effects in other games simply for performance reasons… I don’t understand why you are being attacked for inquiring about the ability to have settings that allow you to adjust the intensity of in-game effects.

also… why do people take offense to something that does not affect them? It’s not like one players graphical settings affects their own…

After I turn down the flashy spell effects I don’t see the gore so much either, looks more like bit of stone exploded

Why are you even posting this here? Amazon and Community Managers have almost no control over development of the game. No matter what feature is requested on this forum, unless it doesn’t directly involves game mechanics - it has 0 chance of being implemented. Because our version isn’t even the most recent. KR has so many more classes and other stuff in their game.
Game Publishers are not Game Developers. Especially when it’s an international release of long existing asian based game.

Give this guy / girl the solution for this thread…
This is the answer :+1:

I agree, an option to toggle the gore or most of it’s effects would be highly appreciated by many players. Including me, I know of another at least 10 of my friends that would rather have it turned off

I know the thread is solved - but I would also like an option to turn it off.

It is most definitely a reasonable request - even with the M rating, there are many games that have the option to turn it off. There is much precedent.

I didn’t make any assumptions about it when I decided to try this game and was (frankly) surprised it wasn’t an option.

Performance aside, the option to remove gore from a game with such (seemingly high accessibility) as this seems like a smart business move.

The gore is not really BAM in your face as the combat does pace quickly from one encounter to another, but I still do notice it from time to time.

When the gore is removed it makes the combat more about overcoming the enemy at a core level, and less about the downstream effects of it. It’s more…pure I suppose I might say.

Additionally, games are experienced at an individual level. So comparisons to strip clubs or anything else that’s only experienced at a community level are incongruent. If one player decides to turn the gore off, it has no effect on any other players’ decision on the matter.

At any rate, I’m +1’ing this request. I find it to be reasonable, and potentially smart from a business perspective.

I got a DM notification from someone who replied to this thread, so I thought I would add my last 2 cents, but you summed up my feelings 100%.

The strip club illustration is particularly stupid. It’s an action rpg, and I’m not asking for the action (or even all of the blood) to be removed; I just don’t need to see enemies explode like meat fireworks.

When i first kill progression the abyss boss dungeon or the last guardian raid / later Legion boss…
I definitely want to see the body explode into Milion pieces for all my hardwork and wipes…

Haven’t read all the replies, but I also would like the LA team to have the option to tone down the gore. Perhaps have a different animation like them turning into ashes that fly off in the wind. I don’t want children to approach me when playing and see the gore. I don’t think this is much of an effort on LA team to accomplish tbh.
