Hello there. With Vykas releasing tomorrow and the upcoming typing mechanic, id like to point out something thats been bugging me since orhea Seto s fight.
Due to carpal tunnel’s issues, im no longer able to proficently play on keyboard, so for fights requiring time and fast reactions i learned to use controller.
Along me there s surely a few more users using it for a reason or another.
Now, as for the issue: controller users have their typing mechanic appear as controller sequences, not keyboard. And:

the icons of directional imputs during said mechanics are terrible. Plain and simple. They come out as a black rectangle with a minuscle white inscryption pointing out the direction.

another further problem is that said white mark is usually put on the opposite directiob of the actual direction. To make a clear example, if the imput requested is down, you ll have a black rectangle with a minuscle white sign pointing down… but written on top of the rectangle. Vise versa, up imputs have the writing down, left ones have it right, and right one have it left.
Not sure if it s the standard is such in the east, but from an european point of view it s absolutely confusing. The white mark is so tiny the arrow pointing direction is barely seeable, and the position the writing is further confuses the whole deal.
I would kindly suggest a couple tweaks, as im a quite skilled player and i wouldnt want to feel like im letting down my team failing mechanics on visual instinct reactions.

chanche the directions recrangles in arrows: absolutely easy peasy solution which woukd solve the problem entirely. Possibly, add a white or red contour to the arrow so it doesnt mix with colors on background.

make the white signs bigger for god s grace. I play on a 55 inches screen and i have to squint while doing a mech that s gonna wipe my team

add an option for controller users to select if said mechanics are wanted on controller or keyboard. My left hand is bad, but not so bad i cant type a sequence fast couple times a fight.
