EASY.
I’d rather have A LOT of people to play with,
than
Current system and play with CreditCard “players”.

by your logic, they shouldnt implement any catch up mechanics EVER. Nice thinking man ![]()
If you got a negative vibe from it that is up to your interpretation.
Also, the whole point of this topic is not about “how people spend their money”, the point is “someone spends an absurd amount of money and feels entitled that no one else can reach the same threshold over time”.
The whole “you envy what you don’t have” is a pretty safe self-argument to validate your impulsive/gambling behavior. What if I am (or anyone else who shares the same opinion) at a really comfortable place financially where spending thousands per month in the game wouldn’t really matter at all but I still chose not to do it because I see no value in doing so? Would I still be envious of those who do it?
Ye, do whatever you want with your income, I am just sharing my view when someone spends an extreme amount of money for something that is clearly illogical. And again, might be pennies for them based on their income, but money still holds absolute monetary value, even someone with infinite money understands the difference between one and a million.
Says every gamer ahead of the curve in every online game ever made minus “credit card” argument if the game is not F2P.
It has nothing to do with LAsystem, you are just playing more or are more efficient than the average LA player.
How do you have to feel everytime new car comes.
And that stupid dealer of yours sold you old one for same price as new generation.
How could he be so heartless.
Still have alts and/or new mains to level. Maybe some of my friends will start playing again. Maybe the game won’t die in my region. Why on earth would I not welcome changes?
^this. anyone mad about this should call their mom up and cry to her, because shes literally the only one that gives a fuck, and even then I think shed tell you that youre a grown ass man and to stop acting like an idiot
I mean how intellectually dishonest you gotta be to think that “gambling addict” isn’t negative.
No because getting over the 1370 threshold is worth less with every passing week. The cost to get there is proportional to the value you get out of 1370+ content.
If they boost everyone to 1370+, then the gear prices will drop to even lower than they currently are and those new 1370+ won’t be able to make gold out of anything, while people who got there earlier have gold from when those drops were worth something.
Things are still too expensive lmao. In terms of inflation/deflation mats are still too expensive right now.
No.
No, Im 1390 btw. Its a really giga brainlet take, how you gonna survive T3 without fresh blood? 3-5% of the playerbase won’t carry this game in the back, don’t be stupid. Open the flood gates for t1 and t2 players to go straight to T3 and remove the 1340-1370 difficulty.
I wanna raid, I wanna trade and I wanna interact and that you need people not some 2-3 whales or 800 hours nolifers like me to carry on.
I’m not talking about mats, I’m talking about accessories you get from 1370+ raids.
People that did it in the first couple of weeks could sell accessories for 20k. Those exact same accessories are worth 200g now.
And honing costs, gold rewards stay the same. It was way easier to get your invested gold back early on than it is now.
No, digital property isn’t property. I paid to get ahead of the curve and now the peasants should be able to join me to sell me Gleap stones and reduce queue times.
Do you think less of people who are addicted to gambling? Do you understand the basic concept of the word addiction? Why would I use any negative connotation to someone who can’t control their actions?
Hopefully you are not so shallow to think that “gambling-addicted” is something that should be used as an insult. Being a mid-aged frustrated person who is desperately reaching for any source of validation is also a very commonplace for people to be.
Again, the negative connotation is up to your interpretation of it.
Accessories are still too expensive, and I’m not talking about the 200g accessories that only dummies will pay their peons to buy. With our current economy Bis -2/lower accessories should be around 2-3k. They still have a lot of room to drop.
I’d love it because i could get more chars up to t3 easier. As for people who wasted their lives to struggle and get there early, they already made tons of gold while the prices were up so I don’t feel bad for them at all.
“negative connotation” it’s public perception. So no it’s not up to your personal interpretation. If it was, negative would have no meaning. No1 here is asking for your personal takes and feelings. I base what you put out there based on public perception because at the end of the day personal feelings just don’t matter.
Well, I’ve got a friend who did Argos right away after the release and sold accessories with dead engravings for 20k a piece. Crit+mayhem+dead etc. Then they were 10-15k a week later, then 5k and now they’re 200g.
We got 50 free pheons from login rewards, 152 from event and we get 10 weekly from event vendor. A full set is 80, 5x15 and 5 for stone. You can get 333 engravings with that. Everything else is not worth the investment, imo.
Point being honing cost, as in literal gold cost per attempt and rewards are the same, but the gold is way more difficult to obtain. So it comes down to more or less the same thing. Not to mention how you can sell mats two days before every reset while people are chasing ilvl and buy them 3 days later for lower prices and make a profit.
I think injecting more mats is good middle ground so they would still have to burn alot of gold via honing.
