If this was ur plan why release glavier and destroyer?

I dont understand the logic of sg/ags or whoever decides what classes to release. The game released in the west with every class having at least 3 sub classes and in gunners case 4 while mage and assassins had 2. So u guys decide to add a 4th to fighter and 4th to warrior?
Honestly whoever made that decision is not good at their jobs. Im a DE main so my mains already released but these decisions being made are baffling.

Im sure everyone has a different opinion on what class should come next. Does not really matter as 80% of the population will be angry no matter what.

This was addressed directly in the roadmap: Team Update & June - July Roadmap - News | Lost Ark - Free to Play MMO Action RPG

Our teams work with Smilegate RPG to evaluate a variety of factors when looking at which Advanced Class to release at a specific time, such as planned balance updates/reworks, relevance of the abilities and playstyle to other content, community feedback, and more. The release of the Glaivier and Destroyer Advanced Classes provide a good example. Our teams knew we wanted the Destroyer to release at (or around) the Valtan Legion Raid for players to begin leveraging the massive stagger damage in end-game activities. However, releasing the Destroyer shortly before a planned rework wouldn’t be a great experience, so we pulled forward the fan-favorite Glaivier Advanced Class into its place, and released the Destroyer alongside Valtan.

The next class to be released is indeed a Mage class, like you called out, because there are currently only 2 mage subclasses available.

Damn, it’s almost like they should have released the complete game instead of removing 100% ready to play classes and drip-feeding them over the span of a year… dang… let’s blame the playerbase for being unhappy though.

Can you maybe share some insight on the class chosen for next release? What made SmileGate see everyone begging for Scouter, Artist, and Summoner, and thought… nah, let’s release one of the least popular classes for our big summer celebration!

I’m seeing people being more angry about going from 1 class per month to 1 class per two month regardless of what class is coming.

Artist was confirmed to be the last, only in march 2023.

Most games make their money in the first 1 to 4 months. They needed to keep up the facade to keep people spending.

That’s not what I asked, please never reply to me again.

Can we expect Reaper to be next then?

It is a mystery that they say they wanted Destroyer for Valtan yet denied people powerpasses. Valtan will be on farm by the time Destroyers start showing up there in large numbers.

Ooo boy roxx replied here. It’s this threads turn to pop off now.

Summoner is also a mage. Front and center of the skin promotion graphic.

Besides the rework, nothing else on this mentioned even makes sense.
You do clearly not release classes based on community feedback, and you do not release it based on content being released, or help the classes like destroyer to even get there.

So what is left must be the “other”.

People are not as stupid as not to read between the lines, and it seems pretty obvious that it is simply drip feed corporate milking.
But I am open to being proven wrong, I want to be wrong.

damn, you think i’m not mad about it? I wanted artist.
If i’m not wrong they said that the class they choose it is better one for the currently new content or something similar, like destroyer stagger with valtan and other legion raids, but artist was the only one they gived a closer date, being the last one.

Valtan actually punishes players for stagger during his parry mech.

Doing orb mech properly or cheesing it with Wei side reel makes stagger check easy for any party comp.

Reactionary result at best.

Will we also be able to craft the avatars from the avatar-modder npc with the update, for example oreha dungeon etc.

Glaivier was specifically pulled up because of its popularity as a fan favorite class, which came directly from community feedback. Again, Destroyer was chosen because of the stagger skills and their usefulness with Valtan, which is “relevance of abilities and playstyle to other content,” as well as the new rework. Both of these things were stated directly in the paragraph you replied to.

The “drip feeding” class release cadence that folks are upset with =/= the order classes are released in and how they are chosen; these are separate topics
