@Roxx Hey Roxx, I just really want an answer on why we cannot buy power passes? After using all my knowledge transfers I still have 2 more classes I want leveled and I am having to painfully level them manually.

Because amazon can extort more money and/or time out of you by not giving you one and on avarage that is more profitable for them, even accounting for players that leave due to this restriction… According to their “business intelligence”.

I just want them to be purchasable like they are in KR. I know they had theirs removed to be reworked or something but they are back. Saint bought one on stream the other day. This one every other class release for free is not great. I am not even using the free power passes for new classes, its for classes that already existed lol.

I know, I’m just saying its currently more profitable for ags not to offer them on the cashshop. AGS seem to only be intrested in hard data and have little to no passion for the game, everything is driven by analytics.

I also wish they were there.

Months of in game grinding or $3000 to buy the necessary mats to level is a higher value to amazon than a $20 powerpass and player satisfaction.

someone who spends 3k to juice an alt to t3 values time over money, which if that’s the case they would easily buy many power passes for all their alts. I and many others are not willing or cannot spend that kind of money. Only money amazon has gotten from me is from costumes and they would get more from power passes.

I think you miss understand the point I’m making. Amazon make money by you being in the game. The value of that time is worth more to amazon than a $20 powerpass. If you have to do lowbie content it populates low level areas. AGS’s revenue isn’t only from player purchases, they monitise your time and also use that to increase their value in future deals (as a metric). I don’t quite know the intricacies of all of amazons revenue streams in lost ark but I’m 100% positive the money spent in the game isn’t the only one.

If you aren’t paying for a product you are the product and nowadays you can be both the customer and the product.
