When people quit a MMORPG in general they tend to see it as a write off. Returning means acknowledging that you’ve now lost months/years of time that other players have on you in play time so you’ll ‘always’ be behind.
A lot of players don’t want to go through that so they simply don’t return and play other games e.g. single player which don’t have such problems.
People think they want destroyer…they gonna be mald af when it comes out. You’re in for a rude awakening.
I don’t plan to quit anytime soon as I’m hopeful things will turn around but I’ve been apart of two guilds on my server (roughly 60 players in total) and I’m the only one left (most came from NW). I’ve spoken to some of them and the answer, is no. None that I’m aware of ever plan to come back.

Depends on why I quit. If i quit due to time constraints or burnout, i’ll probably be back. If I quit due to AGS losing my trust due to dancing around their skin releases, or destroying artist to placate a puritan minority that is scared of young looking characters when its perfectly fine that every other game has them, I won’t be back. MMOs have to have trust, because unlike a lot of games they are designed to take your time and money over a long period rather than just once or twice.
If I leave, I will most likely find another game and not come back (at least not in the near future). But if I had to give an answer I would say no.
The only game I have quit and come back to was the Division 2. Not quite an MMO, but does have a lot of similar game play mechanics . I only came back for another couple of months and haven’t been back since.
I quit that game because at the end of the day, I just wasn’t having fun. Some issues I had were resolved by the time I came back … most weren’t and I couldn’t justify any more of my time fighting the same crap systems.
It honestly feels very similar to Lost Ark. I see myself quitting before long … mainly because outside of combat, raids, dungeons, most of the systems in this game at best, are just “meh”, and at worst incredibly tedious/boring/not fun at all (and yes, it’s more than just honing).
But I’m not there yet.
Never, this was their 2nd chance after NW, wasted…
The complete lack of urgency is killing every positive emotion I may have felt while playing the game, I’ve already uninstalled, yet I’m willing to reinstall next month only if I see a big change, but if they continue on this path then I wont ever touch anything that has the AGS taint in their product.
When I leave a game, I don’t come back. Too many other games to play to bother going back to an old game I left for what ever reason.
The other problem is that AGS has lost all credibility with me. They murdered two games with that had over 1m players at launch. They are not to be trusted at this point. New world was shame on you. Lost Ark is shame on me.
If I leave this game, the only way I could come back is that AGS would no longer be the publisher. Otherwise, I know there would be no significant changes.
Maybe if they’d release a roadmap and tell players what’s going on it would help… then work on the bot issue and fix the in-game economy. This game is a mess.
EXACTLY!!! This is how I feel too
I stopped playing NW and will never play that game again due to the horrendous economy breaking dupes and insane broken client.
Compared to LA where I may just stop playing due to burn out or other games releasing and taking priority , well Im much more inclined to give it another go as long as the game isn’t fundamentally destroyed ( bots are concerning but exist in every game ).
I can’t wait until all these entitled kids that say NO that they’re not coming back see all the new content and videos of the Legion Raids that are posted about Lost Ark.
They will eventually get to a point where the current game they’re playing is “boring” to them and then want to jump back into Lost Ark.
When that time comes, it’s going to be quite funny because they would realize that they’re weeks maybe months behind for the new content and then they’re going to cry again. 
If you say you’re not coming back to Lost Ark, you should just delete all your characters and uninstall. 
We don’t want to hear any BS later.

Probably come back after a year or so when the game is 10x easier and there’s content. I rather play WoW at this point.
hmm, definitely no. After playing Tree of Savior for 4700+ hours. i already know how this is gonna turn out. there’s no point of returning as long as the publisher is AGS. I hate to say it but, the game would had probs be better at the hands of Epic Games or EA. Other than that, this publishing team for AGS should’ve learned from the mistakes that the NW team had faced and communicated with them about what went wrong, but nope, u get the same exact situation. It’s no wonder the CEO decided to step down before he got blamed for even more stuff. even the lack of communication within the team is pretty jarring.

‘If you quit, are you coming back?’ - No. Unless there is a major change, like getting a new publisher. Other changes could bring me back, but I see no point airing that out here.
