No. People weren’t upset that Argos released too fast.
No. They were upset that they couldn’t reasonably reach Argos by the time it came out, which was due to the lack of materials.
You know this. That’s why you added the events to inject materials into the game.
Why are you misrepresenting people’s complaints?

There is a HUGE difference between content that people can’t access and characters that people can play from the moment they open the game. Don’t act like they are the same thing.

i heard that argument a billion times and i dont understand. How the fuck you gonna make money with that strategy ? people waiting classes coming in God knows how long are gonna burnout pushin a main they barely like to do the highest content coming. And whales are gonna burnout too cause they have nothing to do since they refuse to release content faster.
Idk in what world it would be a good business to release one class per month and content every like 2 months
I dont know the reasoning either, but facts are facts, this is their decision to move forward.

I did Argos first week, I didn’t spend a dime.
I’m a fairly new player here and to hear that we’re having content coming every month is pretty quick for an MMO. I’m trying to figure out the reasons this whole forum website has a lot of unhappy people and I believe this is what I’ve discovered:
-Censorship of NA/EU
-Class releases too slow
-Gear Honing very tedious
For the censorship, I do understand this is a bummer since we have this weird western trend of making everything look kids friendly. The way I’d go for it is to at least let it be a function that disables it through settings etc and leave the censor on by default.
Class releases I don’t think they should rush this. As much as I really crave on playing Scouter, releasing all the classes on the spot is definitely going to be a huge hassle and what game even does this in the first place? It’s a Korean MMO which means we get content from them usually some time after Korea’s got their content. Black Desert Online is an example.
As for gear honing, I’m not that far into the game to see the problem there so I won’t talk about it.
The game is actually updating faster than the Korean version as an attempt to catch up to them as well. Plus I heard the skins take quite some time to come out since for whatever reason they’re modifying it for the upcoming classes too.
I’m still trying to figure out why people are upset at this moment. As for me, this game is one of my most favourite MMOs I played for a long time.

You play MULTIPLE CHARACTERS to make the WHOLE CONTENT of the GAME.

Both games can benefit from having alt characters. And this isn’t even the main point I’m trying to make. It’s to figure out why people (could be you) are furious. The game is doing pretty well and everyone knows this.

It’s not hard if you stop listening to the casuals that know nothing about how a game should be managed and make your own educated decisions. They might feel a certain way about the game but it’s your job to come up with a solution not theirs. You say a lot goes into the decision process for changing the game but you instantly fold to the casuals as soon as they start crying. Do not cater to their every whim.
people were upset because argos was released before other sources of weekly mats, so naturally people wouldnt have enough mats to farm to even try to get to 1370. if you guys released the other weekly sources of mats then argos release wouldve been fine

It is trash. u can’t even fininsh quest cuz too many bots are doing the same thing. Therefore, the new players will no longer stay.
Stop feelling happy for the numbers. Now the bots are doing island token content. Which means they are killing this game quicker.
Watching bots fuck around the game is like watching this game dying. I dont see any effective initiatives about the bots controlling and cheating.
