I'm really curious if

everyone paying the same dollar value for the same product isn’t fair?

SA wages are up to 1/6th of NA or EU wages for example, what if you had to pay something, which is adjusted to the purchasing power of another country that is 6 times higher than yours, would that seem fair?

except its not adjusted at all, its a direct conversion so yes. same dollar value, same price. it would be unfair if some people got to pay less just because of where they’re from

Equality is giving everyone the same thing, equity is giving individuals what they need

Fairness means treating people according to their needs. This does not always mean it will be equal

the right side is fair and is what SA needs, but doesn’t get

If it helps any, US inflation is nosediving off a cliff.

On a more serious note, this is correct $1 =/= 1 euro, won, yen, etc.

Changing regional prices wouldn’t help as much as you think b/c the gold exchange is based on their region’s pricing only.

It’d be a different story if they were playing on an NA region, under a NA market spending their country’s currency at USD rates.

But based on what I know, this isn’t the case. Since SA operates under their own region/market… their prices should reflect the supply/demand of their own players.

These people talking as if they are gonna start spending and supporting the game as soon as regionalised prices kicks in.

Lol.

I bet $10,000 to the Mari’s Shop that you guys would still continue being F2P and boast about it since you already talk about struggling to put food on the table.

Im gonna leave this news for some here: We already have the price of Amazon Prime regionalized since years now
They CAN do something, but they dont want to…

No

Amazon Prime is region locked. Royal Crystals are not.

If you want regional pricing in SA, SG has first to lock RC from that region.

Right

If 12000 royal crystal would be 200 tl instead of 950 you can bet I would buy at least thrice per month. I love spending money on games but why the heck would someone with this unreal prices? If I was gaining my money as euro or dollar still the case would be the same but sadly it is not.

If 12000 RC costs 40CND instead of 120CND, i would buy 3 times more 12000 RC too.

Your point being?

if 12000 RC would be free instead of $133 canadian l would buy infinite RC. l love spending money on games but why the heck would someone with real money?

No need for reddit “let’s rob the rich” imagemacros, the costs of hosting in SA are low, so the costs of buying blue crystals should be low. The reason that doesn’t happen is because blue crystals are an account currency not a region currency so everyone would buy in SA if they could. AGS/SG would need a programmer to make it regional, but apparently they’re all out of programmers somehow. So they just roll with a completely broken system and scrape what they can out of the region before it collapses, like with EUW.

I dont know if you read my comment earlier from that but 950 tl is my 2/3 of my rent. Asking for a reasonable price isn’t unreal

ferraris are like 100x+ of my rent. Asking for a reasonable price for us poors isn’t unreal

The game is not designed for regional prices in the West. As long as RC are cross region they are not going to implement regional prices. You can complain as much as you want to AGS but unless SG changes how RC work in the west there is nothing AGS can do.

Wait Canada doesn’t need regional pricing lmao. I live here and you could afford 3 or 4 of the top packs off just a standard wage biweekly. Stop it. Get some help.

140$ for big pack, 1400 minimum biweekly cheque (if you are making less than this why are you spending money on a game).

Am I hoping for it? Yes. Am I actually expecting it and finding it real? No. Just saying my point of view. SA is a different case so I am rooting for them

One dude compares lost ark to real life job, one compares ferraris… you guys sure are funny. I pointed out my rent as an example which meant a game shouldn’t be this expensive. Can you get a good car with a more reasonable price? Yes
