They wonât be able to sell founders pack skins if they released other skins at launch
Imagine how many players wasted money on Omen skins (got two T_T).
We donât really know if the profits would have been larger long term with faster release schedule.

Cosmetics are directly related to FOMO, they will keep releasing one skin per time and with a big interval between them

Imagine suggesting to make the world a better place while you are reading a forum about a video game and doing nothing yourself.
Because no one knows which guy is making the call for skin release.
Iâm also in awe that such a genius individual is actually in an empowered position to have the radical ideas such as âitâs better to use skins as FOMO element to keep the game floatâ instead of selling multiple expensive skins to millions of whales and tourists when they were around.

I mean, yea we joke that Frazzini got fired for not releasing skins, but clearly there is still someone there in the high chair that believes his ideas are good because theyâre still not releasing skins. Sorceress, Striker, Gunslinger, Paladin, and as of tomorrow, Lance Master, are the only ones with âexclusiveâ skins in the shop right now.
They could have used this update to also release âexclusiveâ skins for the other classes, like Scrapper, Wardancer, Shadowhunter, Deathblade, etc. Instead, newp. Nah.
The community will be aight with dapper suits and an exclusive skin for the new class. Nevermind that theyâre other classes that have been in game since release that still have no access to an âexclusiveâ skin selection.
And all this while certain CMâs try and use the argument that theyâre trying to avoid a situation where players get upset over the skin situation because certain skins are not available for all available classes in gameâŚWhile the disparity is very much already existing in their choice to give certain classes âexclusiveâ skins and others nothing.

Ah yes, the classic play of âwe believe that players only want skins that are available for all classes in gameâ, followed with a âit takes tremendous amount of time to rig old skins for all the new classesâ, and then finished with a âwe do not have a development team (or any game developers) from Amazon Games that work on Lost Ark, just publishing staffâ.
And an after-credit scene that shows Amazon releasing a skin thatâs already available for all classes from the beginning in KR.

I think they only drip feed us 1 skin at a time so players are more likely to buy it even if they dont like the skin because there isnt much customizations in the game right now. I hate the Ark pass skin but i might just end up buying it cause thereâs nothing else.
Im big spender on cosmetics in every game i play, i spend 0$ on cosmetics in LA so far and neither spend this patch, so i guess, itâs working as intended?
True I usually buy a lot of cosmetics/skins in FFâŚbut there hasnât really been anything I liked in LA so far. Now I donât have a load of cash but Iâd say I would have at least spent a 100 dollars since launch. They missed outâŚsuppose I have too.
LUL, and they will keep doing it because of this. If you donât like their methods or the skin just donât buy it. When they see people purchasing omen and these trash skins they see it as a win.
One skin a month for the foreseeable future at this rate. Donât worry youâre not the only one though because clearly AGS finds this the best method of releasing skins, so there are many doing so as well.

I think it was smilegates choice to give us the shittiest skin imaginable on launch and then withhold future skins to keep our version inferior. Do you really think amazon wouldve missed the opportunity to cash in on skins if theyd had the option. Especially given that the skins are already in the client? Ever since roxxâs post, everything is soooo much more clearer and now we know what were dealing with: another racist korean mmo company that wants to humiliate the west by giving them a gimped broken copy of their game that will always remain inferior to their own version. They will collect their cash and laugh at us using our shell of a game that their own data on record stated would make players miserable
