I got the quest for the Flying Nimbus mount on my main character Jersh. However the majority of the dew I collected was on my alternate character Flitorous. Once I reached 7000 dew I got excited and bought the Luminous Dew on my alt character without realizing I needed to turn in the quest on Jersh’s profile. I abandoned the quest on my main hoping that I’d be able to pick the quest back up on Flitorous, but was extremely disappointed to not have the quest reassigned to my account after going back to Shangra with my alt Flitorous. So long story short I can’t receive my flying nimbus mount on my account after going to Shangra for over 24 hours of my life, and now no longer have any interest in playing the game unless this issue gets resolved. For a game that I’ve enjoyed playing for nearly 300 hours, I’ve never been so disappointed, angry, or depressed. If the quest was roster bound this would have been no issue, and if the luminous silverdew were roster bound I’d at least be able to trade it to my main. But I have no quest anymore and an item worth over a full day’s worth of time in my inventory that makes me want to punch my computer screen when I see it now. If there’s a way to resolve this issue I’d be so happy, but I believe I’m just gonna have to give up on Lost Ark and play something else at this point.
this just happened to me, was so excited to get the mount. contacted amazon support, got uninformed indian man, who didnt know about the game. he was of no help. i asked if i could cancel quest and start it on other char he didnt know
@Roxx hate to bother but me and this other dumb person are dieing inside.

When you both I am assuming and please let me know if I am wrong abandoned the quest did you do the “MONKEY” event again on the island. That is where the quest comes from BUT you need to get the Black monkey to appear and not the golden. This is all RNG. Once the black monkey appears he drops a talisman that you should interact with that is then the quest for the nimbus.
Did the quest not drop for you if this was the case?
The picture marked with the BLUE is where the event spawns. It is the first one on the island when you enter.

i was moreso told NO by india, i contacted support yesterday (everything is outsourced) he just kept telling me no, and that i can only do the quest on one char so. we shall see man
but yeah u r right. i was so upset i didnt think to try for another black monkey. i till test this and get back to yall.
just so you know for us to get 7k dew, i am certain we were aware of the first event. the second event start 10 mins after island spawn, and third event starts 20 mins in, but thanks for dumbinb it down just incase

I know, I am doing the quest and grind as well. But that is why I worded it did you get the quest again. And if you forgot how it started that was how.
Also if you did run it again and the quest didn’t drop again then I would say it was a game bug and needed dev attention.

yeah i’ll be testing it, i’ve zero hope but logic dictates all attempts be made. i’ll let you know if it works
i didnt forget shit man. it def needs dev attentions, from my understanding since my main has the quest my alt cannot accept. i asked india about this since thats the only place anyone ever outsources support. and i’ve @Roxx but i’m not sure this is something they will be assisting with any time soon.
Your understanding is correct once you pick up a quest on one character if it is a roster quest you cannot pick it up on another character.
BUT I was confused because in your original post you stated that you dropped the quest (from your main) to pick it up on your other character(alt). But then in this reply, you’re saying the quest is on your main…
My question was and where I thought I would help was did you go back and do the monkey quest again on your alt to try and get the quest to drop again. I’m guessing you did and it didn’t drop anything. Yes, that would then be a dev issue.
I have dropped multiple rosters or adventure quests before to pick up on a different character you just have to pick them up at the beginning of the quest line.

COMFIRMED drop quest, go for black monkey RNG, and just do that quest line again, i ride on cloud
