Inferno busses should be banned. Contrary to the regular bussing, it has no real positives to the playerbase and only hurts the game.
Reasonings:
Contrary to the regular bussing, inferno busses have no lockouts and require no gear. Which means bus providers can farm these busses as long as they have customers. Which creates unequality between players and there is no competing that such income. No other activity in the game provides potentially unlimited, non-stop gold farming. The game intentionally blocks such gold farming methods because it does not fit the game.
Also no gear requirement means drivers won’t be spending on the market to gear up to keep the gold circulation going on and keep the economy healthy.
It completely invalidates the value of Inferno titles. Inferno raids give no actual rewards, just prestige stuff. If it can be bought, then it is not prestigious anymore. Many people won’t bother playing these anymore if even if the title have no value, since clearing inferno deathless potentially costs you hundreds of thousands of gold (Consumables + not having enough time to do your actual runs that gives actual rewards)
These “bus” runs sell for 100k gold on average. Yep it does not take a genious to figure out that majority of people willing to pay that amount acquire his gold with RMT. But since it is around 15k/per driver, you don’t get flagged. Drivers that crave gold without any sympathy on the game economy and playerbase. They mostly know it is RMT gold but they don’t care. If you ask them “It is not their problem” and they do nothing wrong. It is a perfect platform to wash RMT gold.
In my opinion inferno busses are just abuse and needs to end.
If you see people selling inferno or advertising it then just report them, 99% of the time its account piloting anyways which is against ToS, since most people don’t have the balls to 7 man inferno.
if bussing is ok i dont see why it should be forbidden on helltan there is either ban all or no busses but no exceptions
i personally think its AGS/SMGs job to get rid of the ingame RMT situation and not judge players that take gold for their busses
bussing helltan is not that easy as you think managing the dmg checks with 2 sups 1 GL and only 4 DPS is not that easy as you might think so why should exceptional players not monetize their skills ingame? It happens in all MMOs…selling mounts and titels for Mythic raids and gladiator titels was a thing in WoW from the first season on. you will always see if a player made the progress from 0h to a deathless clear on how he is playing.
ofc all this is only if they do bus the legit way and do not account share, that should be banned immediately.
You mean piloting their account and just go as 8? Yeah sure, it should be banned period or at least not advertised in the game since it’s obvious what people are doing.
Have you ever seen an Inferno bus where 7 drivers are waiting for a buyer with direct sale? No, they only link their discord so they can do their shady stuff behind the scene and pilot the buyers account.
i have not i went to deathless with a static grp and did all the progression myself and i have a YT vid of it
i am also not selling these busses just saying if they bus the legit way they should be able to monetize their skills thats all
Most of them don’t do that I’m talking like 99% of them, I also could sell both titles all day long since doing it as 8 is easy and nothing really special about it which is why it should be banned since those discord advertises does nothing, but bothers regular players and fills the LFG with unnecessary spam it’s extremely annoying.
Bussing is “ok” because it actually helps the playerbase. You can bus on your main and buy busses on alts to keep your sanity. Or if you are a new player who can’t get into parties due to lack of gear you can just buy busses and keep progressing. You can be on a vacation but you can still get your weekly clears with remote connection etc. You may have anxiety issues on actual raids so letting others carry you would be more fun. This can go on. It actually allows people to keep playing. More importantly these clears have weekly limits and require gear. Which means you need invest in your characters and you can only do once a week on that character. You can do inferno busses 7/24 with no investment on characters that’s just the defination of abuse.
What is the benefit of “inferno” busses? Nothing. You just “buy” a title that others spend maybe a hundred hours to get.
That does not mean you can knowingly contribute on laundring RMT gold. AGS will never able to regulate whole economy no company can. This just ruins the game as whole.
I don’t care how hard it is and it does not matter. All that matter is that it is DOABLE.
I have over 100 Valtan kills, bussing Valtan solo/duo/4 man across my 8 characters every week and my personal opinion is 7-man inferno is not that hard, at least not worth the 15k payout. The only reason it is that expensive is not many people doing it because it is just a shady business at its core. You either get RMT gold, or direct paypal transaction, or do piloting behind the scenes.
If this abuse won’t be stopped, I’ll just start doing it as well in a few weeks. You literally swim in free RMT gold with no repercussions.

no i am not as i wrote already i have done it all they way with a static grp and dont sell any busses except like 4-5 duo argos a week. but if u have not done it yourself and just say “7man is not that hard” man you have no clue what words you use right there
If you haven’t done yourself, or at least tried and failed, how do you know yourself?
Once you get used to it, you can do it reliably, otherwise noone would’ve bussed it. That’s why it is not that hard. The only hard part is forming a squad of 7 who can keep up, not the gameplay itself.

This doesn’t make any sense. You’re saying its “unequality” because they have the skill and ability to provide a service that others can’t? So if someone plays 12 hours/day and knows how to play the market, they’re also at a severe advantage. I guess we should ban them too.
On the contrary, if the gold is legit then the gold is still getting hit with the 5% tax.
You get titles from Normal Valtan/Vykas. I guess those are invalidate titles, too? Since most people take a bus. Also, there is no reason to value a title. You overestimate the value of titles because you don’t really understand what it means. It means you did something- in the case of deathless, you cleared the content without dying once.
I don’t know where you got your figure of “hundreds of thousands of gold” because I certainly did not spend any where close to that amount to get deathless.
100K gold is less than 2 weeks of raiding with a 6-character roster. People spend a lot longer than 2 weeks trying to CLEAR Helltan. And keep in mind, when they’re doing Helltan no dailies are getting done (I speak from experience). I would say that is a very cheap price.
as i said i am not i only went deathless once but if you progress 100h+ you will here and there lose 1 dps at some point and even if this happens midfight it gets rly tight to make the dps checks thats all im saying.
so either you lie about your helltan xp or you bought one yourself because everyone who made it all the way from g1 progress to deathless has experienced this several times that they dont get the dps requirements if they lose a dps lets say at x65
I personally don’t care, people can do their shady stuff outside of the game there’s no need to bring some unnecessary discord spam on LFG, If people want to sell the fight in the legit way then I want to see 7 drivers waiting for a buyer on LFG with WTS and XX amount of gold on the title and nothing else, but then again most people won’t do that since they don’t have the balls to 7 man the fight.
actually i dont even understand what you mean with discord lfg tool spam if i open the lfg tool for helltan on EUC right now theres not a single one telling you to join any discord
