Innocent friend banned in recent ban wave

My friend is now unbanned, same can be said for a lot of the others that were banned that day but please continue to believe that Amazon’s anti bot system works perfectly man!

The sentence is logically quite absurd, since it implies in reverse, that in a world where an anti-bot system doesn’t work properly, people will always tell the truth.

No, because we know these systems don’t work perfectly, we can be partial to players trying to appeal their ban. if you read my frustrations in my post it’s literally just because my friend got banned and when he tried to appeal he immediately got an auto-reply saying he’s permanently banned and they won’t talk about it anymore.

I’m not implying that everyone is telling the truth, but that you should be able to appeal a ban and be able to talk to a human about it since these anti bot systems have never worked perfectly and every time any game updates their system so will the bot creators update theirs.

I don’t understand why youre against players being able to appeal their bans. Are you this cynical about everything in life?

A lot of innocent people got caught up in this banwave, myself included. I hope Amazon can improve their cheat detection but more importantly, their customer service. It’s quite disappointing to get perma-banned for no reason and when you try to appeal, their replies are just automated and don’t cite anything specific to their claim. I don’t think people will ever know what they were flagged for. Just another false-positive on their end. What’s sad is the forum trolls will just continue to say stuff like “you shouldnt have botted/RMT-ED”. Lol wait til it happens to you and have to go through the BS we innocent players have been through.

Hi, same things happened on my friends. his account was also banned in 28th May. His forums account was banned as well.
My friend account summary: 7 Character, 1320hours+ on the game also had premiem ark pass

As a loyal collection-player: 1200mokoko, 100%-5 lands adventure tome, over 80% on other land. 70% land token and lv44 territory (selling potions is the main way to eran gold). Over 1320hours and persist over 10hours everyday.

The story:

My friends and I were trying Valtan part2, suddenly we all counln’t move and logout. we tried to reconnect quickly to the game. Caz we was worried that my weekly CD would disappear(if we dont reconnect in 10minutes, the weekly cd will disappear). the notice showed I was already in game with a 10-minutes ban. My friends tell me I reconnected too fast. After 10 minutes, a notice pop out was saying i permanently ban because of cheating. I had no idea about that, because i didn’t involove any RMT/cheating tools etc. My friends also got a permenant ban, fortunately, they are unbanned after couple hours.

Effort:

1, make appeal a ban by the web ticket on my account. Then I get the same reply twice:

We reviewed the information you provided on appeal and have confirmed that the original disciplinary action was merited in your case. We take instances of Cheating seriously as it is harmful to the community and violates the following section of our Code of Conduct(link)

3, play fair

As a result, your Lost Ark account remains banned permanently.

We can’t share any further information about our decision, and we won’t reply to further emails about this issue.

2, chatting with live support, they told me they can do nothing about a ban. I asked them to give me a reason why my account on ban, they said they cant tell me any detail about the ban. Whatever i asked, they always give me a web ticket link.

It seems like a horrible routine I make a web ticket again and get the same reply after 10mins. Nobody cares a real loyal player. They arent even willing to take a couple minutes to investigate the truth.

SAD and HELPLESS right now. I spend all my free time on game. Over 10hours everyday for daily /weekly/ abyssal/ chaos/ land token/ collection/ food etc. Hope anyone can help me or give me an explaination.
@Roxx Could any CM help this poor guy?

My friend also got his account banned for the same reason in 28th May.
He have played almost 1000 hours. Server: Akkan - NAwest.
-1470 Sorc (main) Name: Grumzz
-3 alts 1340, 1 alt 1385, 1 alt 1080.
He afk the game for more than 1 hour because he need to go out urgently, after coming back he saw the warning because of afk and clicked the OK button. When he re-login the game, he realized that his account has been banned (cheating). And also got this error “server authentication failed. please try again [10010]”

Effort:

1. Make appeal a ban by the web ticket on his account, but only receive email:

"We reviewed the information you provided on appeal and have confirmed that the original disciplinary action was merited in your case. They all just responded “I really want to help you in regards with your ban however we do not have access to such tools and resources. Unfortunately Ban and penalties are handled by a dedicated moderation team with tools We don’t have access over the chat. Appeals can only be handled through email.”

I have spent infinite more than you and not even close to hitting 1480 with three characters feeding ghls - I guess also full LVL 10 gems, 5x3 engravings with +25 weapon with 1 alt farming great honors? Please, just the other guy said, don’t try to pass as a victim, there might really be people banned for the wrong reason, you don’t look like one, at all.

typical amazon support who gets paid 2 bucks an hour. They only send you copy paste " shut your mouth " texts. Thats the problem with companies nowadays, always going the min max way and hope it works out.

What scares me the most about this thread is not about how they made a mistake and banned someone who might be totally innocent, but how they decided to ban him (who was suspected of botting or selling items from third party websites), but not the person who received all the items (who could either be a RMT-er or another account of the suspected bot).

I wonder why the situation is getting worse and worse, I really do…

How can a multi billion dollar company not get this sorted out ? This punishing real players and not the bots is absurdly bad
