Insane difficulty

Then be prepared to get kicked out of a lot of groups once the new Korean update is rolled out here that shows who used battle items and who did not

because if people realize you are the one that is not contributing anything in this regard and later on they will become important especially in the harder raids the green potions won’t cut it anymore because you can only use 5 and they only heal 30% while the purple ones for example you can use 7 I think per fight and the even higher ones are even 9 usage per battle. so yeah it will come down to the good old farm to be raid ready like it was in the old times of WoW and other mmos.

There is really nothing P2W about battle items especially because you get so many free of charge thrown at you by the game. you can craft battle chests by just farming your island farm etc.

And if you want to use less of them, learn moving around proberly to take less damage and maybe have support with you that can shield and heal a bit. But yeah just refusing to use Battle items will sooner or later get you blacklisted and kicked out of a lot of groups.

Why? Why should the target audience have less fun because others want to relax? If you want a relaxing game there’s loads out there; I play Slime Rancher or Elite Dangerous when I want to relax; this is a pay attention and don’t die style game, not a “chill out during bosses”

It actually does. For example I just did the one for Nacrasena (I’m already at t3, just doing it for gold) and it does tell you stuff like “It’s elektricity comes from its tail. If you get hit by that, you are in trouble (showcases one of the attacks). The best option is to cut its tail (during the raid there is even a big mark on its tail, yet so many players ignore it)”,
Of course it does not showcase every attack, but it gives good information on the main gimmicks a boss has.

Oh cool, didn’t know this was mentioned in-game. I always try to learn mechanics either in battle or in guides/videos, so I just naturally end up understanding all of them. Had no idea there was specific quests for each raid boss.

But that’s life. You don’t deserve stuff if you aren’t putting in your all and if others can do it what are you doing sth wrong that they’re not.

It’s you who’s egoing and demanding free stuff.

It’s very sad and disappointing to see comments like

*get out of this game, this is not for you

*go play wow, go play I don’t know what else

the creator of this topic has a question

I’m a person extremely used to flaws in enchantment (I played a lot of bdo and archeage)

and even so in this game here, i find it extremely disappointing that you spend a few hours working on abyss raid mechanics, guardian raid to give you an enchantment attempt and fail with 80% for example…

the biggest problem particularly in the game is not the difficulty itself, but the reward you go through for the difficulty you went through…

I wouldnt say it’s a hardcore gamer focus that is the issue. The issue here is that you have no time to play a game that you want to. So, you have a few choices. Make time, set attainable goals for the time that you do have, or play a game that fits your schedule. You can make do without doing Abyssals tbh. Will you progress slower? Absolutely. Will you miss some potentially good drops? Yes. Can you still make it through the tiers? Yes.

Do your chaos/dailies/weeklies at bare minumum. After that, maybe youll have to give up dailies to complete an island instead with the time you have. Next day, back to dailies.

Maybe focus more on the quests, stronghold and Chaos Dungeon. I feel this game can be played many ways.

you have the rest bonus on these dailys event and abyss, i think u can get some time before the reset any day to do these right?

And finally someone that says the game is diffuclt, doesnt have a lot of time, but doesnt ask for a nerf, agreed, if you guys are having such a diffuclty, i agree that a normal mode that is easier with less materials are also a thing that could be implemented.
The reason i agree with you this time, is bc different from everyone there is finally someone that wants something that wont harm other gameplay, by making a normal that would be the easier mode and the hard would be the current one, no harm in that, we keep what we have, more materials and casual players( sorry about that, but that cant deal with an already easy mechanic by reading a guide) could enjoy the game too

Tytalos u cant overgear, but did you read a guide? or ask why did you wipe, its because of the storm, you gotta get inside it and get tranformed in a stone before he unleasheas his wipe mechanic, getting 3 hits inside the storm willl make you invincible to pass that wipe mechanic, but if u get hit 3 times and transformed in a stone before, you gotta wait 30 seconds to be able to become invicible by becoming a stone, meaning you gotta run away and await till the debuff goes away

Boohoo, the big guardian bear is bullying me, please nerf it amazon daddy!
oh, and that player in shiny gear is just unfair, give me shiny gear too!

The thing is those comments sound harsh, but if OP is struggle now, they’re not going to have a nice time later in the game where it gets more hardcore, better to cut their losses now.

All the content, especially in T1, is really easy. There are maybe a few guardian raids that are hard if you refuse to actually learn the basics of the game, but that’s a side effect of you refusing to learn even the most basic mechanics, not the game being difficult.

I think most people don’t know (and neither did I), which is sad. I think it would help a lot if those quests were more easily found or maybe even have to be finished before unlocking the specific raid. Those quests however won’t help with the incompentency and lazyness of players that are too stubborn to learn the mechanics. After all they only showcase the monster and give you some tips.

You can totally overgear tytalos. The trick is to overgear him and go in solo. Then even if you are not able to dodge his oneshot mechanic, you can just revive. Tbh, you don’t even have to overgear him to kill him solo and just tank his oneshot every time.

Overgear= he cant kill u at all, he can kill you with his mechanic so u cant totally overgear him, but yeah, thats what i did with him, i went solo, so i could use the revives if i messed up

You’re probably playing it right. Everybody else might just be too impatient… The game’s been out for less than a month. I have very low expectations with my “performance” in this game especially since I have life to live.

Funnily enough, I went in to kill him earlier today. He died before even doing the mechanic once…so I guess you can overgear him to a point where his mechanic doesn’t matter at all.

oh, well, this is new, than you can really overgear him, nice to hear it

same thing happend to me man. then one day late at night i got an itch. so i got up. went on youtube and starting looking at class builds. i started to read and learn the mechanics for every raid every dungeon fight. i went on the forums and looked at whats best builds and combos to use for my class. then i went on reddit to look at what spells and skills poeple have set up for raids. What a life changer, instead of crying about it to people who don’t care I learned the mechanics and got better.
