Integrated Preset Tripod Bug

I have a Red and blue build for my gunlancer, and I have different tripods for each build. When I use the integrated presets and go into a raid, it does not change to the desired tripods. I’ve tried editing and swapping presets, taking it off and on. I’ve made sure that I’ve chosen the correct tripod settings for each build (I’ve named them), but still doesn’t work. The only way I can correctly change tripod presets is by manually doing so with the Skill tree NPC before a raid.

Hey xecqt, I definitely understand that your presets not swapping correctly can be incredibly disrupting  .

I’ll send this thread to the development team for you.

Hi, exactly the same problem here, on French localized game.
The Tripod presets don’t change, I’ve to do it manually with the tripod NPC.

Same for german and english localization on Asta (tested with someone else from community, had the same problem)

Hi, any ETA when this will be fixed?

I’ve sent the problem over to the development team and they are looking into it, unfortunately at this time I have no further information to provide.

Also, welcome to the Lost Ark forum community!

Can confirm, same bug. Unable to swap tripod gear sets using integrated presets, regular english client in US East.

German Client, Tripod Preset Setting does not change anything.

I CAN NOT run to the Tripod NPC every Time i switch my setup (e.g. from AoE to Single Target)

Please fix ASAP

EDIT: duh, digged through some other posts and found this:

Wow. if you look at your tripods in the skill window they indeed change to the correct ones, the Tripods on the gear stay the same and seem to be completely ignored by the game lol, only your tripod inventory of the NPC counts…

This does not seem to be very intuitive - and how should a raid leader check for “good” or “bad” tripods?

Dude, you completely misunderstood how presets work.

It literally says “applied skill tree invetory” in the preset menu. It applies the page, not stuff on your gear. If you’re using presets, it’s absolutely irrelevant what’s on your gear. Gear is only for upgrades. As in you apply something from a page on your gear, then try to upgrade a tripod and save it back.

Gear tripods are relevant only if you’re not using presets, but have only one setup.

Yes, this completely makes sense now. And this way you do not accidentally overwrite your gear presets.

What was completely putting me off the track was the wrong translation in the german version:

It reads “Auf angelegte Ausrüstung anwenden” which means "apply ON the gear you are wearing.
This should read “Von angelegter Ausrüstung anwenden” - “Use FROM the gear you are wearing”
