IP block for my country

Hello, a group of friends and I have been having problems accessing the game in the last 24 hours, by using vpn I was able to access the game without problems, so I can assume that Amazon decided to block my country’s access to the game. If so, it seems to me a lack of respect that they did not have the decency to inform it publicly.
Allowing a person to be able to play for almost two months, accept their money without any type of restriction and now they block you is absurd, because who is going to pay me back for the time and money invested?

May I ask what country? Given the current and uneasy political situation in EU, you know…

Same issue, money and time spend and nos Amazon decides to block… Really amazing. The thing I also don’t understand is that Amazon Store is available to Cuba without problems, and in the alpha, beta, etc they never say anything about block Cuba or any other country. :unamused::unamused:

Cuba, I’m sorry with a hot head I forgot to put the country.

The problem is the VPN maybe?

I have never needed to use vpn to play lost ark, now I do.

Ohhh, well rip

This isn’t the first thread about blocked countries and access to LA in the last day.

I wonder whats going on.
Does Cuba have any special gambling laws, like Belgium does in the EU, where the game is blocked too?

No, the blockade as always is from the US to the rest of the world.

Adding comment for visibility!

Just for clarity this appears to be the country list they provided:

Amazon Games is publishing Lost Ark in Canada, Mexico, United States, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Holy See, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

And later they added - “Estonia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Paraguay, Panama, Peru, Nicaragua, Uruguay, Venezuela, Belize, Guyana, Suriname, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Australia, and New Zealand.

But allowing access and purchases and then removing access later is a bad move.

of course its a bad move, if the ban where like 2 months ago, we prob has no say in this, but after 2 months playing, after bying starter pack, and so on, and without notice, or justification, thats not fair. And what for, i can bet that not a single bot was minning from cuban IP.

It’s really sad, such a good game, for a long time I hadn’t had such a good time, and that out of nowhere due to laws that are not the fault of the players, we have to pay this way, it was and is painful to open the game and my hundreds of hours are taken away from me just for living in a different country, hopefully they really help us return to a community and a game that hasn’t been seen for a long time. #WantToPlayLostArk.

And as usual, no response about this from anyone…

Yes my only gripe with this is that i played 1 month without vpn and purchased the explorers edition and now we get banned?

Ok, fine, lock m3 but give me my money back lol

Are you sure this is Amazon’s doing and not your own government? Cuba’s government is notorious for censoring internet access, and this only increased last year.

Are you using a paid VPN or a free VPN? Have you tried other VPNs?

Im going to probably sound a little ignorant here but isnt Cuba still under embargo?

Last i checked most US companies are forbidden to do business with them arent they?

Please correct me if im wrong.

They are and this is probably another reason. My guess is OP is using a free VPN which isn’t very reliable though. My experience is that Amazon isn’t Netflix when it comes to hunting down and blocking VPNs from accessing content.

Please be aware that using VPN is literally “Ban me pls, Daddy uWu”…

It is not allowed to use VPN services to go around region blocks. And it will be enforced even if you spent thousands. This is a Smilegate Policy and is hard enforced in every other region in waves (exception for specific streamers are a given). Amazon is just following it.

excuse me but is not the goverment, is Amazon shadow blocking us
