Read an interesting artical. It raised the idea that Amazon is behind all the bots. That at least would explain why they are not doing anything to help reduce the bot issue. Look at all the news Lost Ark is getting, yes it is bad, but it is publicity. While we may not be able to get into the game because of the BOT queue time, we are talking about the game.
