Okay I know you guys always say “Permanent ban RMTers”.
What you guys think the question as my title? Do you guys feel okay with that?
For me, I dont see a difference between RMT and this one.
I mean people like Asmongold or other famous streamer, of course they are rich enough to whale themselves with royal crystals to get themselves top end-gear 1600+.
But Streamers receive so many gold and mats dontaed by viewers who bought the gold from RMT sites in order to see them wearing top-end gear and still get rekt on Boss mechanics for fun.
I know streamer brings a lot of attention to audience and LA porbably paying people like Asmongold a lot of money to stream this game for advertisement. But if they are enjoying the gold same as G2G enjoyers, why we only blame RMTers who bought gold from 3rd party site for their gear progression and say nothing to streamers who receive gold from RMT viewers?
You think the streamers dont know at least half of the gold donated by viewers were from RMT site?
They know that apparently. But they dont click return and instead they receive it for honing their gear and more content creation.
And they still use it for gear honing. Why they dont get banned? Just because they are famous? Just because they have more infulence on the game while silent RMTers dont?
PS: I don’t hate streamers. But in this case, are those famous streamers absolutely innocent? I have doubts and I think its worthy for a discussion and I wanna see how AGS handle this.
But apparently AGS will do nothing cause they have a bigger problem to deal with and they never know how to manage the game properly.
I’m more concerned about the scenario where gold sellers start sending “hey streamer, long time fan, here’s 10000 gold” messages, mixed in with their actual business, and fuck up streamers because they get automatically picked up for gold buying.
There are streamers that have had their accounts banned due to them being sent RMT gold, Limit Max’s first account got banned due to someone sending him a load of gold that was RMT’d early on.
He talked about it on stream around the time of WoW progression and said his agent or someone on his team tried to get his account unbanned but was unsuccessful so he started a new account and whaled the shit out of it via the in game store.
Streamers recieve a normal amount of gold from each viewer. There is no way for them to know where the gold is coming from. People buying gold on websites know exactly what they are doing.
i gave me asking a friend as a example because i could just say i didn’t know.
now obviously in this case i do know but how is the game able to tell you did know when it just comes in the mail from a user.
I mean they could always like u know play like 90% of the player base that doesn’t get anything, it’s not like most of them can’t afford to buy stuff from the shop themselves
The funniest part about these kinds of arguments/posts is that they’re never about actually disliking RMT, they’re about disliking a streamer or streamers in general… lol. Go to LSF if you want to mald about Twitch streamers.
They do get banned and AGS stated that streamers shouldn’t get gold from strangers. They banned liquid maximum for it. As you may not know, some streamers pay their friends from their own money to buy gold and give it to them, just for show and entertainment, he is putting a show. I doubt the gold was from an RMT site. Otherwise, someone that popular will be banned because they will definitely hear and know of it.
