I agree. I main deadeye and legit there is no reason to play that over gunslinger. Rerolling to euc and all my chars are gonna be gunslinger

I am making an artillery chad and going to alt as a scouter now.
My brother also said I should go artilery, but he mentioned the scouter getting a buff in an upcoming patch so Ill worry about playing that class later.
Right now I just unlocked the pressurized explosive enhancement where you can charge it up. Hard to want to do anything besides see the big boom right now.
I almost always decline reapers, no matter how well geared they are, I’ve never seen one performing well and they usually die mid fight. Also not a fan of pistoleer since their damage is absolute garbage.

With the recent change in balance patch, his uptime is good enough for cruel fighter. Give it some juicy lvl 10 gems and you be the last man standing w/low hp pot usage.
arty is strong but he’s like a slow version of destroyer but with range utilities and deadeye i think are gatekept more. 
rarely see a good player.
Your experience is either bias or you met some new players tryna play reaper. Like I have mention many times, I rarely see any reaper died often and crazy like how many people say it is. NA is brainwashed by what they misread and misheard about reaper from S.Korea so one mistake from a reaper and somebody in the party will say floor pov. Then a sup dies 5+ times and no1 blinks an eye 
A player who doesn’t play reaper nor is good at it will be against the class majority of the times. So in conclusion the player is trash not the class and there’s plenty of players falls into that category when they trash on a good class.
-My experienced with reaper was in G5 brel NM. We wiped about 5+ times for other players mistake and I was the reaper who didn’t died once in g5-6.Yet no1 shout floor pov to those other class lmao…point proven.
-Another story a while back I died as a reaper a long with another class player in G6 and this whale gunslinger with all lvl 10 gems wanan call me out only when there’s another player who is floor pov. I basically replied back “Oh you are picking on me cause ima reaper class yet you didn’t anything to the other class?” Funny story I ended up being 2nd mvp cruel figther next to dude (this GS w/lvl 10 gems got really quiet) and I don’t even have lvl 10 gems but lvl 7’s. Imagine if I did.
Also a sup main or sup players only, has no say in reapers floor pov. Played sup and those class are the easiest and boring class to play.
I see it fairly often weekly. People gatekeeping other class builds for example. Not igniter sorc? No invite. Scouters I’ve found also get ignored when they try to enter groups. You’ll notice this more if you pay attention to the people applying when you’re in groups. There are certain scenarios where it’s very obvious.
There’s various class builds and certain classes that straight up get ignored. It’s really trash and the people who do it are trash.

Buff is already in our version , though only AS got dmg buff making him relatively viable but its the hardest class to master ( low survivability , no push immunities but great mobility ) , Evolution Got quality updates and it has greater survivability and a decent synergy dmg outpout great for alt/new players and way cheaper to build than AS which needs tones of investment
All new classes (except support Artist because support) are gatekept as players are still learning the class and don’t perform as well. I run two rosters that are mostly Gunners. I mained Artillerist on the first one, Deadeye on the second. Just FYI, Deadeye has the highest theoretical damage ceiling in the game, but really needs Brel gear and higher to play at potential. Barrage Arti is just crazy. A good Arti player can carry just about every raid.
As a side note, most gunners are Hit Masters, so they’re not really positional. Deadeye is the exception. They make better proggers than Entropy classes, so new raids are easier to run with them. Most of the KR folks use Gunslinger as the median in their tier lists.

Ayaya was hardcore gatekept first weeks, to the extend you were looking for dps frend for raids.
Scooter is zpds, ofc he will be gatekept. Why get one when you can just w8 a bit for a meta class to apply.

That guy spent a full week of hardcore raiding hell brell and the only classes they allowed into their group was S+ dps. Not even a A+ dps was allowed in there. So I guess he’s also trash.
Does anybody think this is anything different for hard brel? It’s simple really — everyone wants to have the highest chance to clear the current raid. Why bring a F tier dps when there is a S tier dps with the same gear in the signup list next to him?
Tbh i took the advice here and already swapped main to artileriest. I was torn on the 2 classes anyways and apparently barrage artilery get in raids.
So i will do machinist as an alt. But inam having a lot of fun with artileriest.
I like playing my Scouter. You won’t get gatekept when you’re a high iLv and have full gems of either 7 or higher, but there are occasion where a few toxic people out right gatekept the class because they’re idiots. I haven’t been using the so call “tier list” to play the game since the beginning. I just play whatever I want. But before you get too deep into this game or class. This community is not very friendly overall. Everyone got frustrated after a wipe or two thanks to the RNG mech. Not recommended this game to anyone.
I feel like gatekeeping mostly happens with ilvl and maybe rosterlvl/titles. Engravings are not such an issue anymore I think, books and accessories for 5x3 have become affordable. And classes are balanced well enough so that every spec is viable.
BUT, you will be “gatekept” for party composition. Crit synergy sometimes has an easier time getting into grps. My Gunlancer was basically never denied ever (unless there already is one). Try to apply to grps that have only few people or are half full. The last spot is often reserved for a high ilvl guy or a specific synergy.
Meanwhile first group to clear hell brel had a scouter and aeromancer in it. You love to see it.

Completely agree, gatekeeping on class alone is a bozo move. With these raids it’s about the player and their ability to execute more than what dmg tier they rank on. Not to mention lower dps tier classes tend to bring a lot more utility to raids as well making them easier.
A shit player on an Igniter Sorc isn’t going to out-dps a good player on Evo Scouter…
