I already invested $50 for a founders pack and 30 hours into getting my Scrapper 50.
Is it even worth playing this game if I have to restart and lose the time + all the loot (cards/engravings) I spent to get my character here if I want to play on a now locked server (Mari) with my friends?
Founders pack transfer seems like a “sorry, our bad, take this and get over it”
No it’s not. You wasted a day and a half playing an MMO with enough content to last for months if not years; you should cut your losses now and just move on.
lost ark is a game you would probably put hundreds or even into the thousands of hours into, so 30 hours isnt too bad. although i hope i too didn’t just waste 45 hours of my life on a server that will die or something

I also play on a locked server, but playing with friends is not a priority for me before tier 3 anyways.
Why do people make these threads asking questions only they can answer? You spent a minute writing this post and you’re not getting the answer you want, should you just quit the internet?
Im in the exact same boat, on Mari too. Lvl 50.
Half my friend group locked out of our server, too much invested now to start over, and even if I did, not all my existing friends are willing to jump servers either.
No matter what happens now we will all be seperated, and they arent even fully reimbursing the founders pack.
The worst part is they gave us 40m notice prior to the server lock, so not even a chance to scramble and get our friends in.
They are completely disconnected from what an MMO is and have shown that they dont care at all.
We are just looking to cut our losses and move on at this point.
I just dont want to invest limited time into a game that is going to make last second announcements. Only able to have played since out of office with covid but 30 hours us usually 2 weeks of time for me.
Bro, there is cross server play. the only thing you guys can’t do is be in the same guild. also “All the time lost” it’s been just 3 days.

Do what’s best for you but honestly 30hrs will be nothing compared to what you’ll invest down the road in Lost Ark.
The game is great, Amazon just isn´t into game hosting.

Everyone on our squad who got in early is already 50 and has bought crystals and stuff that wont be refunded.
We were under the impression that we wouldnt be penalized for supporting the game early, big mistake.
All they needed to do was give more than 40 minutes notice prior to locking.

That is up to you if you really enjoy playing with your friends then why not… join them and level up again together. Games are always more fun with friends and that founders pack is just a nice bonus.
Once they get your money, good luck getting it back. zero recourse for false advertising and misleading people. I will continue to play the game, but rest assured LA will not get any more money out of me, and when i get to the point that I cant progress anymore unless I spend money, then I will the game away and it can vollect dust as it was meant to do.
