I can only speak for Antares, but for what I’ve seen there is a lot of spamming / scamming going on through Gold Coins and just in general homophobic/racist comments are being thrown at people who ask a question or request help for a dungeon/boss ect.
I’ve downloaded the game yesterday and am 16 hours deep already, I really like the game but that just destroys the whole vibe for me, I’m sure other servers are also full with this crap, either its a link to a website that sells you Gold Coins or its a racist homophobic that thinks going crazy on minorities is funny and at the end of the day they might not even be punished for it but it just gets lost within the system or you just don’t get told that administrative actions have been taken towards said individuals.
Can we get some more Information how your report system works and whether or not GMs are being searched for?
If so, is there a form/website to apply for a volunteer position?
Block and move on with your life. Especially stop wasting your time posting a 30 paragraph entry on a board because someone said a bad word in an online video game.
There will never be a fix to this, its foolish to think that this is something that CAN be fixed. MOVE ON. report them and block. Honestly, do you think they see your post and go “Dang this person is right, there are people being really nasty in game, we should hire 500 people to moderate the ingame chat, infact lets hire people to moderate everyones daily lives and get them before they say the nasty stuff, the real minority report experience.” No. Move on.
It is pretty bad at the moment. Especially the racism & homo/transphobia.
Sadly, this is a problem that will never be fixed unless their CS team takes a hard stance on this and actions each report appropriately. I’ve been reporting and screenshotting every one I come across. We’ll see if anything is done.
There’s something about online gaming and having access to a keyboard that reverts a lot of people into immature manchildren. The only thing that’s going to stop them is the same way you reprimand and teach an infant - consequences.

You mean Gamemasters, and no they probably don’t exist, hell WOW had what 4 GMs for 5 million people, these days everything is handled with a support ticket or a report.
On Trixion, it’s even worse in term of racism between the serious one and the troll it’s been since tuesday 8th that there a war between english player who can’t stand that someone on the server doesn’t speak english and thze french who tried to revendic the server for them, it calm down a little since 2 days ago but i can assure you that it’s been hela toxic

It’s appalling how people act in online games. It’s only gotten worse over the past several decades. All these internet jockstraps that really are just doing it because they get a rise out of folk are a waste of oxygen imho. Being edgy in a video game is pathetic…but it’s the norm these days. A bit harsh, but meh.
Humor aside, yes it stinks that you have to turn off chat/report/block and move on…but that’s the reality of it all. I haven’t seen an in game GM in any game in…well…an awful long time. Companies won’t invest in them and even if they did…it would be darn near impossible to keep up with the relentless kiddos.
Any new game I play…first thing I do…turn off chat. Zero need for it anyway. I will chat locally if there are some reasonable people around or in groups. But general/trade?

It’s really annoying that you’re going through stuff like this. You have to remember that Lost Ark is not even 1 week online. They have over 500 Moderators doing their best. We have 1 million players playing and annoying gold sellers too. If you think you can value moderation, you can always contact the community manager.
