Just go to random posts and jump on whatever bandwagon that post is on about. “oh yeah same issue here” or “I feel the same way” ![]()
Okay that’s fair
just making sure you knew they’re doing bad faith arguments with heavy whataboutism
Oh, I’m aware. They’re not even trying to hide it anymore.
I will add to this original issue tho: Day 1 i saw gold spammers, and just turned off area chat. Sucks i dont see much typing anymore but it was effective.
I will say, I’m pretty sure I saw Roxx/Seawolf ask, in a stern fuck off kinda way, to not bring actual politics / political conversations like the above few responses to the forums ![]()
If that’s the case, then I’ll stop with literal examples, or even with continuing the conversation. Especially in case the guy is trying to catch me out somehow.
Yeah and it really only appears to be in cities / Luterra area, everywhere else is either a mix of hate speech, overuse of b*ssy, or sometimes people asking for help lol
I guess the spammers havent gotten past Luterra then haha That would be enough of a time sink I guess to not bother.
I’ve had some positive interactions in area chat. But I’ve been really meticulous in who I block, so I don’t fill up my block list too quick.
Wait is there a cap on how many people you can block??? ![]()
I know it is likely a database control thing, but really block limits suck.
Yes, it’s set to 100 players which is why the whole BLOCK AND MOVE ON crew need to shut the fuck up because there’s a limit to that ![]()
Also for reference, here is Seawolf saying don’t bring politics to the forums:
I was trying my hardest to not be political. But since the discussion is dragging on in an unreasonable way, I’ll stop responding to the topic about it. ^^
the politics discussion never leads anywhere. its a webforum for a game. id rather have all these IRL issues left out of the game and i mean from both sides but thats never gonna happen in 2022 in an online game, fuck me i guess.
Everything is political to some degree and, as such, politics discussions just can’t be avoided entirely.
slaying dragons with a sword as big as a golf-class car doesnt sound too political to me
game design and world building is done by people who live in the real world. Our internal biases will have an effect on how we do those things, thus politics are implied in one way or another.
I am locking this thread because it’s devolved into a conversation that doesn’t have a place on the Lost Ark forums.
We are working on improving moderation tools, but in the meantime if you encounter someone who is breaking the rules and/or being a less-than-stellar human, please be sure to report them in game or online here: Lost Ark - Support | Amazon Games
