Is there a specific date for the artist release other than "march"?

Thank you, this answer is much better!

But I get it… there is 2 reasons why the patch date isn’t being shared yet.
One being the reason you stated and the second being hype-marketing.
After I got timed out here for a short bit I realized one thing that we always got on previous class releases: Release trailers that were shared on Youtube and twitter which had the release date in them. So it makes sense to not share it beforehand. Not that I personally cared anyway. I was just frustrated by the initial answer. Because we got dull responses like those already multiple times in the past even though the interns at AGS know more than they already can/are allowed to share, or responses that were just dishonest.
For example the official reply we got to the shadowhunter demon form being so overly dark and foggy that you hardly can even see your character. Yeah that response we got, was an absolute joke and I am still upset by it. And I am not talking about Maselbart of what he said. Because most people here don’t even speak german and took his reply out of context. What he said about it was just a personal assumption.

Talking about this one. Hundreds of people here asked for an option to have the option to choose between the KR version of the shadowform or the one we have.
There were also hundreds of people who asked to have the art team look into this issue. Since, the actual model of the shadowhunter looks NICE. If you go to a really sunny and bright area ingame like prideholme or punika you can actually see the skin color looks very good. The actual problem with the demon form is , that it is completely coal-like blacked out by this dark fog around your character with that red lighting effect once you transform. And the higher your graphic settings are the thicker the fog gets. To a point where you can’t even see your face anymore. That is the real issue about this model and NOT ONCE have we gotten a proper reply to this.

This and other issues that players have here were often ones that just got swiped under a rug and not being dealt with. And yes, such things really upset me. And if they do then I do like to express my frustration. I like giving constructive feedback on these forums because I want the game to be better and have positive changes.

Personally I would like to have better answers on topics I care about because I deem them to be important issues:

  • SH Demon Form
  • an option to toggle the “Input Keyboard Limit” restricion off and on. Because I like pressing ENTER to enter dungeons and raids.
  • releasing the API finally, so our community creators can finally create better tools so we, the players, can better plan out our builds or shop for ingame accessories, view and share our profiles with each other ETC.
  • 3 day hold limit removal for trusted accounts aswell as the 20 item listing limit per day and the 10 second delay between purchasing items.
There was lots of valuable feedback given like gradually removing these limitations based on the standing of your account and your ingame progress. For example players with 200+ Roster level are no longer affected by these, or a 1490 ilvl+ Character on their account.
  • gifting feature is still disabled for players with accounts in good standings. You can have swiped over 100€-1000€ and still are not allowed to gift other players even though you should!
Fraud prevention usually does not even affect that type of playerbase. Active players that have secured accounts and play regularly should not have these restrictions.
  • Release cadence of content in the game since we are still years behind KR right now which is worrying. They are currently still multiple raids, and 3 entire continents ahead of us. At our current rate we can only catch up in like 2+ years to be “only behind” for 3-6 months of the KR region. We are getting the major contents too slow imo. You guys SHOULD release Elgacia early for us, aswell release Akkan earlier than planned for now. Ideal solution would be release Akkan normal only then hardmode a month or 2 after. (because it would be too harsh on ilvl requirements to release both versions of the raid at the same time IF you plan to release akkan faster). I for myself have already multiple 1560 ilvl characters now and still have to wait 1.5+ months for Brel Hardmode. 4 months gap between normal and hardmode is WAY too long. When I saw that shit on the roadmap I was really disappointed.
  • Still wanting to know about the undocumented triport change on the worldmap. I asked you on your stream about it, tagged you afterwards again on the bug report forum, and one month later since I first asked there is still no reply to this issue. I do up to 30 UNA dailies every day and having this issue fixed would save me a couple seconds for each character I play every single day.

So if AGS could take the time and tackle on these topics properly it would be highly appreciated.
And to briefly touch on the item listing limit again…

^december patch notes.
Honestly. I do not even understand why the AH restrictions are in place still. Most if not close to all old bots have been wiped out and new bots based on those patchnotes CANNOT even access the AH anymore. So why are normal players still punished? Back in November when we had those massive AH issues with lag etc there were around 12k pages of T3 gems listed on the AH due to bots. Now on EU C this is down to below 500 total pages aka only 1/25th~ the amount of items listed. That alone lets me know that bots cannot use the AH anymore. So why do you keep restricting us players? Can you guys please sit down with smilegate and talk about a solution? And if you do, can you let us know that you are going to do that?

Thanks for reading.

As always saying the last day or Monday of that week, how annoying they are with the updates, when in KR they are going to release something important they announce it like 15 days before and they say the exact date so that people can prepare either days of leave at work or saving for that event/character, they should learn to do things right

We know it’s the 15th or the 22nd but it’s annoying because those in charge don’t know how to handle things

SG provides the patches not AGS

So AGS cannot give you a 15 day warning if SG hasn’t said for sure when they plan on releasing the patch.

Most likely SG will confirm on the 10th/13th if the patch is for the 15th and we will get the official notice then.

This is obnoxious for sure because it provides little time for players to plan accordingly around patch releases.

that is literally wrong though.
She already confirmed we get the info 1 week ahead of time.

Uh what? Bots are trusted, have been like May or so when the bots required to be trusted to send mail(gold).

The bots were mostly prevented from selling gems only when they required 1375 level to trade. Same thing with trade materials. Did you somehow not notice after they require 1375 level, the prices started to seriously increase?

most of these old bots have been wiped out by now since there have been multiple massive banwaves.
Also even before the 1375 trade restrictions were put on these commodities, there weren’t massive amounts of gems and mats listed anymore on the AH. Bots couldn’t mail you or whisper anymore etc. I haven’t gotten a bot mail in months now.

As long as bots cannot clear argos and the 1370 abyss dungeons they should be now mostly wiped out from using the auction house.
Which further confirms the question to me: Why then do we still have those stupid restricions?
10 second delay, 20 item listing limit.

The 1375 item level restricion looks to me like the final nail in the coffin AS OF NOW to combat bots using the auction house.

Yes, repeating yourself is useful. They keep creating new bots, and those are made trusted. All these restrictions are small barriers, and delays.

The only one restriction that completely blocked the bots from doing it, was the 1460 requirement from thornspire book reward. It restriction recently got removed, and the engraving chest was made non-tradable.

Few days ago in Punika.

Right now.

Could be multiboxers. They had actual builds, 2x3 and 3x3. But still, bots ARE levelling up to 1375. Because they have to.

This is the latest thing bots are doing. I mean they’ve been doing it already, but now they are doing it much more harder.

You know the patch is in March, how does that not provide anyone enough time?

Well it does depend, if I wanted to book time off around a patch having more than a weeks notice is helpful for submitting that time and having it approved.

But we’re talking Lost Ark here, hardly a reason to plan a vacation around a patch launch :stuck_out_tongue:

If they pull that 22nd or 29th release shit They’re gonna meet bigger backlash than just keep it in April. It’s basically April release with extra steps to give people hope for nothing. So very likely they’ll release on 15, not too late, not too early and after the older events expired

Getting anything else than 15th doesn’t line up with every other info we have.

“Extended gold toad 2weeks into artist” 29 - 14 = 15

F4 shop stuff resets on 15th

Login event ends on 15th

Anniversary event ends 15th

If they release later than 15th, then it’s very unlikely we even have 5 week before brel hard so can’t 6piece brel

So, we’ll know sometime next week or the following week.

Probably next week aswell as a lost ark academy news post about all the artist skill & identity abilities, as usual.

Maybe in LoA 2023 they’ll get rid of that item.

@Roxx would you mind replying to this?

well I told you guys.

Not like it was much of a secret lol

I am just not a fan of this hype marketing, but whatever works to get customers, works.

ofc it was not much of a secret but they had to “hide” it from us regardless.

now the best thing you guys can hope for is a 1460 hyper express event instead of a 1445 one.

They already explained in a rare truthful post from the cms that they don’t announce it over 1 week before now because they did that in the past then had to move the date and they got shit on by tens of thousands of people lol. You didn’t call anything we know that a patch is most likely to appear when events and time limited rewards expire if it doesn’t happen it’s always because of delays.

Literally posted on the 8th of feb the day the anni patch dropped and loaded up the game and looked at the login path, event and item expiration. We aren’t genius let’s not pretending looking at basic trends makes us smart for being able to predict these things.

They do releases once a month, on the same day that the login rewards end.

There has been only 1 exception to this which was because of a rushed patch to remove 1445 content from South Vern which was broken and they had to delay a week to fix it.
