i’ve been lied to… 
keep in mind that just because the game came out in another region years ago we are essentially starting from scratch(not entirely but in terms of development). Alot of the systems likely needed to be completely redesigned in order to work on their servers and perform to their own standards. Obviously things are far from perfect but its only been like a week. Coding for a game like this is complex and some of the issues they are facing are pretty serious. Give them at least another week to work out the kinks.

I dont see what EU has to do with NA, when i talk about NA people keep saying EU this or that. Bro i understand EU is having issues, but that literally has NOTHING to do with NA. The servers are not connected in any way shape or form. They can do rolling maintenance just like any other mmo, its not that hard.
Also, for half the country its just turned midnight. Not sure what your point is.

there is only 1 single thing that is “dire”

and that should be a hotfix, 15-20min at most…
then you save the rest of the bullshit in a giant pile and do it all on a single day, that you tell everyone WELL IN ADVANCE… so they can… you know… plan to do something else…

What do you do for a living? I doubt its anything to do with what you are commenting on. One should at least have some basic understanding on which they choose to complain about.
I honestly do not mean to be rude, I’m just saying yes it sucks yes i wish i could be online but at the end of the day I can’t allow my own ignorance to control my emotional state. I use this time to simply learn about the game etc, watch a TV Show, Write or enjoy the company of real life things.
I just never understood the point of making a post that aims to serve no purpose other than to vent. Maybe that wouldn’t be a bad idea for a sub category here on the forums.
Yeah but some people are hard Headed to understand even if we explain many time to them. You just wanna go Berserk on them and Leave there body in the Dungeon lol.

might be because of EU being much more popular right now, at the time of this maintenance all the servers on EU are green and barely anybody talks in area chat, it’s 10 AM and as you said most people are at work/school.

for the first time i thought of entering the game early then the servers were closed 
Bruh i just realize that EU has 1 Server and NA has 3 Server Regions thats Sad. EU have been neglected. 
The queue times? Hasn’t this forum been filled with people complaining that they can’t even log in? Isn’t that dire? Just wondering.
It takes time to spin up new servers, you can’t just click an on button like with your computer and they turn on. You have to spool them up.
and EU is more populated… yet they thought NA is more important for whatever reason? i don’t understand that logic but hey what can you do?

all the more reason for that “new server” patch to take more time, instead of trying to rush it into a 3 hour patch, that is probably 90% sure to be fucked in some way once this maintenance is over…
