I have been timing pretty much everything (most activities) I do in Lost Ark the past three weeks to give me an indication of how long I am actually playing everyday. Refer to the notes for more detail. I am probably forgetting some items, but I believe this is fairly accurate for me. Is this typical with everyone?

Chaos gate and field boss are not available every day so the 7x does not apply for those

Lol. I am semi retired and can play a bit more. However, until I started documenting the actual time played, it does disturb me a bit ngl.
I haven’t broken down the individual activities in a while but I do track how long it takes each character a day. Usually comes out to 25 minutes give or take per character if I’m trying to just get everything done. I’ve been skipping my Guardians to put them on rest lately tho so it’s been a bit less.
I get about 4 hours to play a night after getting home from work and most of it is spent on Lost Ark nowadays. 32 hours a week seems pretty on par for me as a 6 roster player.

if you put 1/4 of the effort in your job as you did on this you’d get promoted to a team leader
Thats pretty much around my playtime before i cut a lot out of my routine and did only rest bonus runs. My chaos timings were faster since i had good aoe classes and chaos specific gear. Raids faster as well since I have a static that is good and well geared too, never having to restart or waste time in party finder on every character saves so much time… aside from raid day my grind is about an hour every other day for rest stock… on days where i dont have rest bonus i just do daily log on claim and sh stuff then get off. 4hrs a day can burn u out real fast, and felt miserable.

I would say yes, around 40h a week, but depends.
3-4h work days, 4-8h weekends. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depends if I have more or less time for playing.
78h in 2 weeks.

Pretty much yeah. I have been playing since 5 days after release. 300 hours on my old server and 1200 hours on my current one. My roster is 130. It is pretty low for 1200 hours I think? Since I didn’t really start raids (legion/argos) until recently (I notice raids give roster exp and with alts going every week, that’s a bunch of exp hence why people do roster check before accepting in party.)
I do enjoy horizontal contents like island soul or adventure tome. I play everyday and try to do all contents available in that day (field boss, ghost ship, chaos gate, islands and daily chores) except for sailing activities because no. I usually try to not let rest bonus stack up on my main roster of 3 characters. The other 3 I only do chores only when they are full or almost full rest bonus.
Overall I do put a lot of time in this game. Playing 2 or 3 hours a day is not enough.

It’s funny that you 1445 pally has harder time clearing Vykas Normal that your 1475 has clearing hard kekw.
Also I’m concerned about your Valtan clear time, damn that’s a lot of time to clear even like Normal Valtan !!! I mean I know it’s not just about you but damn pugs seems so bad !!!
Are you pugging all raids ? Will you pug Clown ? I’m really curious on what will be the results for clown, especially since you’re main supp so you’ll have easier time getting into parties*

I played 70 hours (according to steam) this week and I only have 2 chars
I only do dailies and log out (including chaos gate / field boss / mokomoko event and gold island if available that day) + rappot… pretty much what you do just with 2 chars
I guess valtan for me is the most time consuming… bypassing those braindead gate keepers and finishing a run takes alot of time for me (hours)… I cant just hop in and finish it like you (I am also afk + alt tab and surfing the forums…
still this is a huge difference… whats your last 2 weeks playtime according to steam?

In 1150 hours I have 1490 5x3 dB, 1475 clown ready bard, 1 1445 arcana 1 1415 dB and 2 1370 which I don’t care about and I’ll replace soon, swiped only for skins and the pass, idk how you guys spend your time but it seems a lot to me

That’s impressive. I have a few hours over 1200 but my highest ilvl is 1470, with 2 main alts at 1430, 2 1370 and a 1100 scrub.

Tbh ilvl doesn’t count since they all do the same chores. I think most people waste time either afk or being gatekept instead of making their groups

I just reached today the 1k hours. I have 1492 Main, 1475 support alt, 1445 support alt, 3 1415 dps alts and 2 1370er alts.
But ye most of my onlinetime i just stay afk and talk with my guildmates

Ye we are pretty similar. And on horizontal content I’m not too far behind the people speaking about 2k+ hours which I find insane. Im missing some cooking stuff some rapports and a few islands

That’s because he swipes and never farms only does chores as fillers for materials. Also he doesn’t have gatekeeping issues ( cuz Mr streamer) and usually especially in Korea he is getting carried by gigachads. So ye if you can afford to play like that the game actually respects your time but this is so disconnected from reality and the average player
