Issue w/ Lightning Whisper tripod on Striker

I recently put on a Tripod for Esoteric Extortion Level 2 for Lightning whisper

After putting on the tripod, it is not updating the skill w/ the appropriate level and the tripod is not getting any more gauge than it was before; it is still only generating 2.5 orbs

NVM it updated after restarting the game, changed zones/ combat/training ground had not changed it
