I have like 1.5k hours put into this game. I don’t really hate whales. They are the reason why people like me who are F2P have an opportunity to be rich.
If someone spends $300 USD for 100k gold, which takes me about 2 weeks to make. I don’t have any harsh feelings. It’s their money. And 300 USD to skip 2 weeks? I personally wouldn’t do that.
But, 80 USD to skip my 2 weeks worth of work playing 7-8 hours a day…I feel like my work and effort and hours are all just de-valued and mean nothing. 80 USD is like 2-3 dinner worthy of money. I can skip 2-3 dinner and make the gold that takes me 2 weeks? Why am I even spending my precious time when I can just buy the cheap gold and never get banned…all the people in my guild swipe and they play fine w/o ban cuz you don’t get banned if u trade thru AH…
It just feels bad to spend time in this game…but everything in this game is time-gated…
