First of all, I know I come late. My main is 1470 and almost 5x3, but I simply never bothered with Vykas till last month. Of course, I behaved myself and watched some good content about mechanics for normal/hardmode, I don´t want to waste anybody´s time nor mine.
The issue here is that no one is willing to help you learn even the very first G1. I played since day 1 and been active in the discord, tried searching some people that matched my situation (and even tried playing with people that already knew the fight but wanted to do it with alters).
It is just impossible.
I don´t need help learning the fight, I need people to group up with without asking me some bullshit about tittles or being a veteran. I am a veteran, hell I could master the fight in 3 tries, but you just won´t give me the chance. Is sad, is frustrating, and it is just unfair.
Before you tell me anything about searching a guild or a static, already tried, I am on EUC Trixion and did not have luck in that neither.
I write this just to see if this is common among the playerbase who did not started raiding since every new update dropped, or if someone is willing to propose anything. Would not want to be the developer who has to come up with a fix to this problem tho.
You just have to think about how long this content is ingame at this point already,
for example: I “have” to run 6x Vykas hard each week… i just want to get it done as fast as possible… Next to 6x Valtan and 2x Clown. It can be pretty timeconsuming and i dont wanna waste more time that i have to.
Same goes for all my guildmates.
The content is just “too old”, that there are many players left, that have never cleared it and need a learning group.
I’d try to open a group for myself at the raid-prime-times. May you’ll find some other players in the same situation
Then just join a normal group and act as if you have done this a thousand times already and improve from just learning by doing
If you want, me and my static could take you on a ride on this Week on Vykas(after reset). It might be one shotted, depends who plays on the main but if you wanna experience the raid atleast and clear it/doin some mechs feel free to hit me up and we do that.
I just don´t want to believe that no other overgeared player is in the same situation as me, cause let´s be honest, 1470 for hard Vykas is more than enough.

Doin Vykas most likely on Wednesday, depends whos there but ill let you know when we raid early enough.
There are some leaning groups, i often see one if i look for a title run on my chars for the weekly clear.
It is even recommended. Better die 100 times in 1 week and maybe dont even clear it, as getting carried as it doesnt matter if 2ppl die and dont learn it correctly.
It takes some time, but just have a look every hour or so until you find one, or create your own one. It takes time till its filled but your learning courve will go up highly in 1 week.
