You don’t see wow doing that because they FORCE HARD RESET every time new expa comes out.
This makes you feel like everything you do now won’t matter next year or the year after.
Wow completely caters to casual, resulting in their down turm.
LA progression system build on top of each other, making you know that your work will not become a complete waste.
While the class overhaul will hurt in LA a lot more, the system is still better than in wow.
Also the hash truth is, as other has pointed out, Western market is just a drop in bucket compare to KR. In business, you cater to bigger market, not the loud mouth small ones.

this is just the PTR, it doesn’t mean the nerfs and buffs stay in the final product. Just relax and wait. Also, so far absolutely NO classes or specs have been “deleted” because they have been rebalanced, they’re just fairer compared to the others. I can’t identify since the last balance patch any class that was stupidly stronger than another.
Which is this better game release this year. Ash of Creation release probably around 2025 with Riot MMO somewhere in 2026. If you speak for the Nsoft MMO, well this will be diablo immortal 2 cash grab.
It’s not the class that is deleted, it your character.
You are not getting the point that it actually doesn’t matter if it’s a nerf or a buff. Your entire setup becoming irrelevant is unbearable to the average player. Imagine logging into your main tomorrow and seeing all your accesories deleted and your engravings changed to have 0 effect on your current build?
They actually already did this once back in april, to a smaller degree, to soulfist, and korea players complained that change out of the patch. How will it work out this time?

If they go and do something like that then I for sure I’m gone because I picked artillerist because it wasn’t at the bottom of the list of most picked characters I like it to be somewhere in between they should be messing with other classes. I mean if Lisa going to change it they better give us proper payment to keep our characters in the game it’s not right for them to change everything on us
A lot of people think it’s actually more tankier because of mayhem. When the game launched I watched a few videos on youtube on how to build it and they made those claims too. Even the Maxroll guide still today says:
“The increased damage penalty is somewhat offset by Mayhem”
If you do the math you end up taking 15% increased damage in Mayhem. Many players rushed grudge and did most content on ilvl so there was a large amount of inexperienced berserkers getting one shot or die early in raids because they couldn’t manage the penalties. Meanwhile many other players also believe you are more tanky. Plus the bots.

They say that because classes will get nerfed and everything will have its day in the sun, not because a complete redesign may happen and ruin your many months of progression. I can’t think of any instance (in Season Two) where anything like this has happened before. Look at the Destroyer changes if you need another example of a class rework. No one needed to change all of their gear, tripods, gems & accessories.

The game has no competitive scene. Closest thing to extreme endgame would be hellmode legion commanders, which is scale of balanced + u handpick your engravings etc for it anyway. No pure dps class will be nerfed into the ground in such a way you can’t re-clear Valtan or Vykass if you have been already. Even if your numbers aren’t as big anymore, you can still do all the same content you have been doing before.

Cuz I could understand if you are mad cuz 1 skill gets deleted but ARTI stilll will nuke still will have barage mode and for GOD SAKE you arent even top 3 most nerfed classes.
OFC Arti gonna get reworked like destroyer, summoner. Its old class and it didnt rly get deleted.

Fun fact, chances are if you main Arti you’re NOT a meta chaser. It was hardly meta before it got buffed 6 weeks ago and guess what, most didn’t switch mains in that time. Simpletons like you parrot this utter garbage . Most of us love to play it, what we don’t love is that its so drastic that we actually have to change our entire build. That shit is expensive!
If you play cuz you love it then where is the problem.
Those changes arent still in game and SERIOUSLY your class is not first to be needing to rebuild engravings.
You do know a lot of people spent like 200k gold to get leg books on both FPE and barrage to get 5x3. If this change gets approved, you basically just wasted like 100k for one of the engravings then the accessories you bought that has +3 of that engraving. You have to change 2-3 accessories too to get 5x3 again. This change is far much greater than what DB went through since it was mostly change to their playstyle.
Yes I can understand being salty about such investments I would be too.
Problem is they are starting to work on classes that use double engravings. In my opinion class engravings should be exclusive with each other or they should be baseline (not engravings based).
I bet Deadeye/Gunslinger/Summoner will soon also see changes that will force them to rebuild. Thats the part of game and part of playing mmo sadly.
But by no means your char is not deleted, your progress is not nullifie, thats kinda hard overreaction. I dont see how will they ever do any changes if we will always put “players invested X gold in this build so dont change it”
Last balance change could push you tons of gold behind on triports/lvl 10 gem alone
Engravings arent that bad in comparision.
every game has patches and balance patches aswell, meta shuffle is totaly fine, if u crying about that mmo games not ur type of games.
PS u still can do all content with any class, even hellmode is viable for everyone, so idk whats the problem
