It will take us 2-4+ years to catch up to KR at this rate

if someone paid 5k$ to get 1500
or someone played 16 hours a day to get 1445

it isnt really an indicator of how the game is going

the way i see it is that we’re getting high level content without high level catch up mechanics, so you’re playing the game as if argos is end game but then they want you to do valtan and other content at 1445+

content is both being released too fast and too slow at the same time, it’s being released in a way to force you to pay them money or waste your entire day grinding

We will be 2 legion raids behind Korea in June. It would not take 2 years for us to catchup BUT:

It is more like we will NEVER catch up. The Russian version is 5 months behind and will stay like this. They dont plan for NA/EU to catch up. What made you think that?

It’s Lost Ark gamedesign more than anything else, also we we’re overgeared asf for Valtan.

We will never be caught up.

There will always be a delay between KR release and other regions due to localization.

At best we will be on par with RU and JP and stay at a 3-6 month gap.

We will be at this stage in a year, maybe a bit more given KR will receive 2 new classes and other content between now and then.

if you’re lucky enough to have money or time to spend on the game, if you can only play 2~3 hours daily then good luck reaching valtan when scouter comes out

2-3 hours a day is 3-5 alts a day.

Speaking personally, it’s important to me because I want something that’s actually new in the game and not just KR’s cookie crumbs that have already been solved. I like seeing communities when everyone is trying to figure out the mechanics of a new raid for the first time and not just the masochists while everyone else is google translating inven.

I realize that comes with the territory of most KR localizations but that doesn’t mean I can’t want more.

First time playing a Korean MMO?

You can forget that.

All MMO content that is new, is already on YT on the day of release. There are test realms where people play months before it shows up on the release client.

The days of WOW or Everquest where you entered a dungeon or raid and it was not done before, will never come back.

I mean FFXIV works that way so it’s not completely dead. And many KR games still work that way today in KR. It’s just that we get shafted in the west because there aren’t many western-native MMOs comparatively and like you say many have PTRs or similar.

If you’ve ever been a child and watched others eat ice cream that you quite literally could NOT have you’d understand why people want to be caught up.

People wanna be caught up until they are fully caught up and then complain why there isn’t content.

Not sure why people care so much about being caught up. They haven’t even cleared majority of the content yet.

I want a degree too without going through school

That is exactly right. I keep hearing people complain about not being “caught up.” What are you talking about. You dont have to catch up to anything. The content will still be there. So many weird people.

imagine people getting mad because aeromancer will take a while for us :joy:

btw when Korean roadmap for the second part of the year will be released. Except the Aeromancer and Female Zerk what new content they will release. Any new Legion raid?

They’re expecting Akkan very soon, and I think Smilegate said two legion raids this year, which means Thaemine at some point as well.

I think NA/EU will always be behind because of translating UNLESS they prepare content thats been translated to all languages when we eventually reach KR content, that also means we will be doing raids truly blind with no guides, wonder if the game will reach that point with how players feel right now.

game will be dead before catching KR and RU

being behind is ok, new people to lost ark need time to catch up with thing them selves anyway. But everyone should have his main class released, and the only content we are behind should be raids, dungeons and ect.

They wrote that new class releases bring back players who already stopped playing back to the game, well duh… they would not have even stopped if their main was out.
