All MMO content that is new, is already on YT on the day of release. There are test realms where people play months before it shows up on the release client.
The days of WOW or Everquest where you entered a dungeon or raid and it was not done before, will never come back.
I mean FFXIV works that way so itâs not completely dead. And many KR games still work that way today in KR. Itâs just that we get shafted in the west because there arenât many western-native MMOs comparatively and like you say many have PTRs or similar.
If youâve ever been a child and watched others eat ice cream that you quite literally could NOT have youâd understand why people want to be caught up.
That is exactly right. I keep hearing people complain about not being âcaught up.â What are you talking about. You dont have to catch up to anything. The content will still be there. So many weird people.
btw when Korean roadmap for the second part of the year will be released. Except the Aeromancer and Female Zerk what new content they will release. Any new Legion raid?
I think NA/EU will always be behind because of translating UNLESS they prepare content thats been translated to all languages when we eventually reach KR content, that also means we will be doing raids truly blind with no guides, wonder if the game will reach that point with how players feel right now.
being behind is ok, new people to lost ark need time to catch up with thing them selves anyway. But everyone should have his main class released, and the only content we are behind should be raids, dungeons and ect.
They wrote that new class releases bring back players who already stopped playing back to the game, well duh⌠they would not have even stopped if their main was out.
But how are you wasting your time grinding as a f2p? Content is being released quickly. But that was their goal since the beginning. FOMO is the only reason anyone would have a problem with content being released too fast. I still donât understand your point here. My initial statement is just pointing out that even the F2P players are 1415+ while the âwhalesâ are maybe 1480-1490 (for no reason by the way).
i honestly dont even remember what this was about lol
youâre wasting âyour timeâ as in you need to play a lot more to keep up, as in you need to dedicate your life to this game.
not being able to play new content on day 1 is fomo yes, needing to wait months to play the same content that everyone else is playing isnt, specially when youâve been playing since day 1.
like i said
so they give you the content kr and other regions have so youâd catch up to them fast, which is nice, but at the same time they dont give you the same catch up mechanics to play said content.
not even âonlyâ catch up mechanics, but stuff like honing and drop rates in general.
youâre condensing 3 years of content into a single year, but youâre not condensing 3 years of grind in a single year.
with our rates and available content it looks like theyâre expanding it by 5 years instead of condensing it to 1 year.
Heâs not wrong, but any streamer who says stuff like this and also plays on KR obviously isnât going to care much about class releases in the west.
Saving mats for 4-8+ months for a class is one thing, but it actually being 7-11 months total gives a clearer picture of how long people will have had to wait.
Waiting for a class thatâs literally in development and not released anywhere is nothing close to waiting for one thatâs completed. Stoopz only needs to wait for KR releases, so his take is disconnected from most NA players.
Again, heâs not wrong, and Iâm being a bit sour, but I stand by what Iâve said.
