When you enter something and have a mass preset set, it only counts your currently equipped gear’s level, not that of the gear you will be swapping to via the preset.
You might think this doesn’t matter, but when you do gear transfers, it unequips the gear from all gear tabs and you have to fix that. If, say, you gear transfer your weapon on your bard who is on the chaos build, then join content where you swap to a support build (using a different gear tab), suddenly you have no weapon, can’t use any abilities, and are only able to slap enemies for 33 damage on crit…
Anyhow, it should count the item levels you’d have after applying the preset, not those of the currently equipped gear, so as to make you realize this and fix your gear tabs.
Reproduction:
- Get two gear tabs
- Equip everything on one, make the other one naked.
- Make a mass preset with the naked tab.
- Switch to the fully geared tab
- Find a raid/chaos dungeon/etc. that you can queue for while geared
- Set that content to use the naked preset
- Queue for the content while wearing gear
Expected behavior:
It tells you that mass preset [x] doesn’t have the gear level to queue for this.
Actual behavior:
You enter the content naked and for some things like boss rush, you may not be able to equip gear later if you don’t realize your mistake at the very start.
