Its time for speed honing to 1370

so legendary accs are only available in t3? OH TY FOR THE INFO MATE I JUST KNEW THAT

ive always been using 3 3 1 engraving on my t2 days, never had any problems clearing levanos and alberhastic and even abyss dungeons

but everyone right now literally asking for carries because they cant do that, because they dont want to get it right, because they only want to be carried, because they only want to skip it

a lot of mechs in argos are already introduced in t2 even t1

and that is the reason you should stay a bit in t1 and t2, and not even weeks, i myself even without these kind of events (there was no naruni events when i was in t1 and t2) and still took me only 1 week on t2 and 3 days on t1

i dont get how its considered long

holy

and even market right now is so cheap for t1 and t2 other than shards

how can you think that its long

holyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Oh boy. So you want to tell me, that a class does feel good in T2 and T1 content? That the legendary accessory in T2 makes you feel “wow, thats fun”? That you get the amount of stats, that are necessary to start to play a decent build? Well ok.
You playing Berserker probably?

Anyways. For most classes the game starts at 1370, for some even at 1445. Material Artists will shine at this ilvl. Ofc they want to reach it somehow.

Argos just need a 5-minute guide and few attempts, and you can run it. This goat is not complex at all. You dont need to play 2 weeks of a tutorial to understand basic mechanics.

And yes, I think it is long. Show me a game, where the tutorial is like 2 weeks. You end the tutorial mostly in 5 minutes. Yet you can ask Korean players, and they will all tell you the same: T1 and T2 is nothing more than a tutorial.
And you won’t even skip it in a second … even that wasn’t on debate. But you should be done - as a casual, within 3-4 days. Do the island that gives you mats - and finish that tier - there is nothing more at this tier… same goes for T2. Do the islands, and you should be done.
Yet you worked for it, you played the content, but you are not stuck there.

And its awesome that the prices are low, so alts can gear up faster. But do you know what alts are missing the most? Shards. They are expensive.
And do you know what new players lack the most? Gold

Maybe you should come off from your high horse. We got it. You are so good, you farmed your stuff, you were superior in T2 T1 and everyone else are crybabies that wants everything for free.

It’s funny right, that I suggest stuff, that I actually don’t profit from. Like I said, the 1370 stuff we are talking about, doesn’t concern me. I do this, because I do remember the way from t1 - 1445. You on the other hand are an enigma to me.

lmaoooooooo
duhhhhhh

sorry man
i actually pity you
i apologize if you feel like im arrogant or some sort
i guess everyone who can and have been doing things very efficiently is arrogant, am i right?

i never sold my mats, never flip anything in market on t1-t2
and i still have 12-15k gold on t1, and 30k gold on t2, started with 30k+ on the first day i hit t3

im sorry but i will never understand if people are lazy and dont want to put in effort to think efficiently

anyways thats it, this discussion is not going anywhere, you will never understand because you cant and wont put effort on efficiently doing things in game while I and most ppl have done it…

and if asking for honing buff and extra mats injected is the only solution to your “speed run to t3” solution then yeah, the community is definitely just an entitled brats cause you refuse to explore whats been given to you and just want the easy way

Oh boy.

Being efficent is one thing. Being arrogant and trashtalk other people, call them crybabies because they don’t have your ressources are something else.
I don’t call you arrogant because you are “efficent” - how should I even know if you are or not. I just say it, because you act like it.

Congrats on your 15 - 30k you made. Once the Server started, the marked was a chaos, people made millions back then, especially those who played russia, knew where the market is going to drive, knew where the ressouces where and what you can easly sell. I had my 70k back in start of T3 too. Yet I do know that this is not possible anymore.

Everything you brag about, I already achieved. I worked for everything I did in this game, had the ignea token mount after 2 month, farmed the merchants 15h a day for 3 weeks, just to get gatekeeped for 2 weeks from the RNG by moake.
Yet do you see me cry about? I do hate RNG, that for sure. But I don’t cry.

Yet I do know, that MANY people don’t have my time. They don’t have my resources and they dont have the opportunities I had (chaos market at server start to get yourself some huge amount of gold).

I do see people quit every day, the amount of players joining lost ark is reducing. So I suggest something, that doesn’t matter to me anymore. Yet, you sit here. Cry about how unfair it would be, if others don’t have the same struggle as you do… yes, you can twist that argument around.

Anyways. It seems the discussion with you leads nowhere. You can’t see the bigger picture and just think “It is so easy, just do this and that”, yet the results on it is pretty obvious. The game loses player and honing is one reason for that… But yeah, congrats. You are such an awesome grinder, everyone should play like you.

nope
that is not what i said
i said, it took me only a couple of days without all these ongoing events happening on my time
and you think it will still be that hard with it?
of course i would say that you are playing the game so inefficiently, everyone would say the same

yup

thanks for finally humbling urself and agreeing to it :+1:

FOMO in a nutshell :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Let’s not care about it man… This mentality is sick. The game design is infinite, and there are infinite things to grow before you complain about upcoming endgame content like this. If your gear is all relic matching your class, your roster is high, SH is high, collectibles are high, you are probably just 1% that p2w (or veteran from RU/KR that know the “hacks”) and that’s also all fine, but don’t consider that everyone is like you…This game was designed to be f2p and super fresh in Western, so you’re part of a minority, with relevant participation, but keep in mind that p2w and veterans are not alone. Several people are learning and progressing slowly, but always.

TLDR: Releases should be driven by community progression.

I still need to todo LOTS of Valtan before start to consider Vykas…

I’m more concerned about other horizontal content than another Legendary Raid, which is just about another NPC with different mechs to kill… Horizontal content is about content diversity, which is about amplify the ways to progress to the same goal and expertise grow.

Yes, the process should be player driven, but imagine you were 2 weeks earlier valtan ready, because you didn’t waste so much time pre 1370. Now you would be ready for Vykas normal release.

Sorry but this is a 2 sided blade. We can slow the progress with low honing chances, or we buff them and accelerate the content, so we are till the end of the year on KR content. It’s you guys to decide.

And I don’t get where this FOMO stuff comes from. There is no fear to miss something out… there is just the feeling that the majority of player have, to not be able to play current content.

Like I said: I still have found a single argument against honing buffs. All these people here say is “Mimimi, give away 1490 passes so you don’t have to do anything” or “you guys are just crybabies” blablabla. Sorry, but I am still waiting for real arguments. This topic is over 200 comments long, yet there is barely any constructive comments here. Insane.

Why should we ALL concern about it? That’s my point about FOMO in your gameplay style. As I said, the game has lots of newcomers inside a 1370+ gear, so there’s no reason to rush content release, people need to breath and learn more about the game before pushing more. I know, you’re talking about your needs, and that’s all good, you have rights for it, but just don’t mistake to think that everyone is like you.

Still, I would love to have Elgacia in Western, but be able to achieve the content of that continent is another thing until EoY… KRs had literally years to learn the game and prepare themselves for that content…

So my advice is: Don’t let content releases drive your gameplay, and if for some reason you are overprepared, just go play another thing or revamp your gameplay style until new things release. That’s how Koreans play due the natural slow release pace in KR version.

so, 2-3 weeks of farming unas in that character + mats from the rest of the roster to push an alt to 1370?

Why would exist an argument against it? I mean, we’re all in the same boat, so fair rules (even for p2w the rules are the same in this mech). It’s bad when it not pass, but great when it pass. It’s a game design… It’s like our real world physics laws… It’s a matter to accept it… Only if developers (game gods) decide to change it, based on community feedback or not, it will be changed. I mean, why change it? To make game easy? Fast? Why make the game easy or fast? I mean, you have right to ask, but don’t be upset if the answers are not what you want. The answers are what the answers are.

The thing is, that the preparation for newer content is not the lack of basic knowledge or you “need to learn the game”. Once you reach 1370, the majority of things you need to know about the game is already learned. Valtan HM was a challenge in the first week. We needed 12h to clear it. The second week, we finished it in 1 attempt. Many people in the community had similar experiences. People are more skilled than we think.
The game at all is not hard, but the challenges that are upcoming are the once, that made lost ark big.

To speed things up and letting people catch up fast could be a part of FOMO, maybe.
But maybe it is less a fear of missing an experience and more the unfun you have, doing a non-challenging daily content for 4 weeks (T1-pre1370, and then 1370-1415).

Yes, content is waiting. It doesn’t matter if you can run Valtan today or in 4 weeks.
But the majority of players do want to run it. And they do work for it, but they can’t work for it that much, then others. So they need way longer.
Now they have three options.
Spend more money to catch up. (requires money)
Spend more time in the game (destroys work-life-balance)
or Quit the game and searching fun somewhere else.

Many people already choose the third option. How many more till we start to accept, that there is something wrong?

While people have the right to diagnostic, us (people who are pro honing buffs) fomo, we are also allowed to diagnistic people against honing buffs a self-centered behavior. Like there is nothing else than envy that I can see in this comment section. It all has the same pattern “I did it, you have to do it too.”
But that mentality is as wrong as the FOMO. If someone hits 1490 before you, your progress is not worthless. If someone needs only 2 weeks to be ready for valtan, while you needed 2 months, it doesn’t change anything for you.

People in this game are insanely resentful. In my whole time playing MMOs, I’ve never seen so much whaleshaming and envious than in LA.

It seems to be two different sides of a medal we got here. The FOMOs and the resentfuls (and all the ones inbetween) … yet we have to pick I guess.

I see @Armenty - Just to clarify, I don’t want to change your perspective. You have rights to have it… Mainly because you already reached the endgame… I’m just pointing a potential not healthy and not so common gameplay style. Anyway, hope you get the attention and answers you’re lookig for

Real world physic laws are unchangeable. Honing is. You can maybe stop gravity in NASA, but you can’t change it on the whole world.

Yet you can change the rules in a video game, made by humans. So, I’m not sure if this analogy works here.

Also noone is upset here. Also many people are PRO honing changes. YOu can see so many topics in this whole community that tells you, that honing sucks, is frustrating and completely destroys the game mentality of people. Friends get pushed away from each other, because one has more luck/more time than another and the other one can’t catch up. Driving him to quitting the game. Why does it has to be like this?

If there is no argument against honing buffs, but there are arguments for honing buffs, why are few people here are so stubborn about it? What drives them? The answer seems to be, they just are jealous of newbies who have it a bit easier to catch up, than them.

Or potentially know nothing will be done, no matter how many times these threads have been brought up.

The more pressing change is server transfer and that has not been addressed yet, don’t get me started on Bots

I try to read that comment as nice as possible, but it does have some personal attacks in it. I over read it and assume you mean the best, since we want to stay as objective as we can. Beat me with logic, not with pseudo-psychology and telediagnosis.

Well, they will come. You are right if you say, that those topics more or less are useless, because the honing changes exist, and they will 100% come to us too.

The thing is, that all of this is a chain. Bots, Honing, Gold, Shop, etc etc. Everything is connected to each other. If you want to fight one thing, you need to adjust the other.

LOL! No personal attacks :joy::joy::joy: I am just going to work and tried to reach some conclusion…As I said, I’m not here to change your mind, just pointed the problems in your perspective in my perspective
