When can we expect June / July roadmap? This will ultimately decide my fate for the game. The only thing that could possibly make me stay if Scouter is not listed for either June or July. Is if I see that they are releasing “Classes at an accelerated rate”. By that I mean they are releasing them faster than one class per month. Outside of that, This is a make or break roadmap for me and many others! I WILL NOT wait 6 months to finally invest into this game.
I have been holding off. I refuse to push any characters past 1340. I will not waste the materials or gold. And more importantly, I will not waste my time and energy on a character that I do not intend to play long term. This can be said for any of us who are still waiting on our true mains, Whether that be Scouter, Reaper, Summoner… You guys put yourself in a TOUGH spot. Feel there is nothing you can do. Regardless youre gonna have a huge part of the player base quit.
we already know that getting artist is unlikely. they are aiming too push older classes first and artist is the newest one. (atleast according to a CM post)
If they don’t release summoner arcana people will be a lot saltier than anything else. But make no mistake, everyone will be salty regardless. Game’s just dead to people without their classes. Anything else is like eating fucking beans when you know you could have an actual meal.
And I don’t even hate beans, but if that’s all I’m eating for 6 months I’m never touching that shit again.
I really hope for Artist. My guild already asked me, when I´m aiming for 1340+, they were a bit salty when I said, I´ll only hit it, wen Artist arrives, cause current classes are nothing I´d really like to play
If by your definition, then sure. Factually it is currently at an accelerated rate compared to KR and initially planned.
Players with this mindset should take a break from the game until scouter release. If it’s not too soon, it will likely come with a Punika powerpass and maybe hyper express straight to Valtan anyways. If there is nothing else they enjoy in this game, these players will likely leave the game after initial scouter or main honeymoon phase anyways, because I highly doubt a single class can flip the game 180, long-term, for anyone.
You are wasting material and gold. When you push higher, you get more and better sources of material and gold generation. You also get higher honing chances from stronghold to better level up your eventual scouter. So, by not pushing, you are effectively losing material and gold.
You can and will eventually make alts to do legion raid and other things if you enjoy the game and play long enough, so why not push your ‘alt’ now? If you don’t intend to, I somewhat doubt you will stick around much anyways even with scouter.
Edit: I’m also waiting on my main too; Aeromancer. I highly doubt she will come out before Scouter or other classes, but I still plan to play until she comes out, because I enjoy this game.
Yeah this is a problem for everyone waiting for their class. My guild has asked when I’ll be ready for Valtan. The answer being “I won’t.” isnt a good one. ;_;
What do you suggest for people that don’t want to play melee? When destroyer hits in May there will be 11 melee classes, 4 ranged classes, and 2 support classes. So if you fall into the category of not liking melee you are cut off from pretty much half the classes in this game.
I feel that LA is interesting in that melee/range isn’t much of a factor. Lot of end game content is safer sticking close to the boss, so it’s wise to be in melee distance anyways. Just find a ‘playstyle’ you like. Argos is also a decent place to ‘test’ if you are playing a character effectively. It’s sometimes difficult to tell what you like unless you give it a try.
biggest issue is them forcing destroyer down our throats when no one mains that class in any region… it is less played than soulfist by a large margin! they should release 2-3 classes every time they release classes and get us caught up with classes within 3-4 months, this is a basic part of the game and not something that should come out later like say valtan or vykas etc…
Fair enough, I would agree that end game is a closer circle as far as positioning goes, it could still be argued that it is melee range and medium range. What I am trying to get at is more so they shouldn’t have released two melee classes and now that they have they should expedite two ranged classes and the support class. To say that someone should be playing alts to build their roster for when their class comes out is valid, but the lack of variety for everything but melee is horrible.
