Im not sure im im just thinking too simple here, if i am… well im sorry xD , but isnt adding a verification process to the character creation using phone , email or something similar would decrease or even end up the bots creation?.
Im aware is one additional step to character creation and its not very common in games, but if you could do that i think would be much better than having the bots around.
And for the remaining bots that are already created maybe adding a little buttom on the screen similar to where the lost ark pass one its on the screen that sends you to a simple event similar to the naruni events that if not done maybe on the timelapse of one month the character gets suspended or deleted, and of course opening an option for recovering the characters for players that were not aware of it or playing during this event.
As i mentioned before im not a developer or something so im not sure if thats a lot of work but it was just an idea since i guess any kind of effort its better than having them populating the servers .
I guess banning them would always be an option but the problem its they creating them faster than the bans act.
Phone: There are free temp. number services that can be used to handle calls and texts in-browser, and many can be linked to Android emulators for app passthrough.
E-mail: There are countless free to use e-mail services.
Verification without a personal attachment is impossible.
Yeah thats true. Im just thinking in ways to get rid of them, i also thought of a team(from the company) like kind of in charge of approving the accounts created before they actually starts working, but i guess thats a lot of work an money to invest to solve an issue, damm bots x_x.!!
Lol, the problem is AMG is being too inactive when deals with bots. There are many ways and ways to deal with them, every MMORPGs have been messed up with bots and they can solve or at least make bots fuk off on their own mind, just mimic them.
The legit cure all is reducing the value of gold. If players can access and accrue gold that much easier, there’s way less interest in buying it. AGS just don’t want to have to monitor and work through what that would mean - ofc it also means less income as players wouldn’t buy as much gold legitimately either. But then you just add more skins. More mounts and pets. More cosmetic stuff that players are ACTUALLY invested in. I’m more than happy to fork out for creative skins that more directly empower artists in the industry, rather than this arbitrary stuff nobody wants.
