A guild isn’t necessarily a static or even needing a set time to run something. Lots of lost ark communities transitioned past statics because of the inconvenience. Easier to have a discord with a few 100 people and people just @ a role.
Like my guild has roles you can manually set to yourself. Like for example pick the clown role, brel NM, Vykas HM, etc. Someone does @VykasHM and people with that role get the @ and just come if online and want to join.
But if you want to depend on randoms to join a pug run when you don’t meet their gatekeeping standards… will continue to have issues (not having title, lvl 2 set, etc). There’s obviously a reason the 1500s aren’t applying ever. They’re pugging and will look for people at their level of experience to ensure a smooth run. Which definitely sucks and I can see why people have frustrations with pugging, but it’s pretty unavoidable.

but yeah can vent here much as u want just telling u reality of situation and why most KRMMOs fail in the west. They are 2 grindy, elitist, cocky, P2W, toxic. You can tell by the rage in these forums 1st time playing Korean trash. They always look good and play good, but the monetization disrespects your time and hot garbage. You have to navigate the waters with a idgaf attitude and not invest too much. LOA takes it to the extreme but in other KR MMOs the raid wouldve been retired by now and obtaining the gear to beat clown in 10m would be cheap. It shouldnt cost $20,000 USD to make an endgame character from scratch but it does.
Dont wanna spend play game for 2 years, still wont have all lvl 10 gems. SG will make raids tuned specifically with lvl 10 gems in mind and give those players with LOS30 and +20 armor huge advantages over a player like you thats all lvl 7s.
There is room for gou to choose but you get less gold. Getting less gold from a raid doesn’t nean nobody is doing it anymore. You cab still choose valtan instead of clown
??? i skip maze all the weeks , the last run past week was my fresh 1490 GL with lvl 5 gems on alt roster lvl 1 set (his first clown), a pally 1480, scrapper 1500 lvl 7s and db 1515. how do you need 1575 to skip maze?
Clown is way more worth now, sure its only 1500 more gold, but it has a chance to drop an Ester stone, and one sold a few days ago for 2.5mil gold so…if you can hit the jackpot you go to the moon.
I’m gonna open up a lobby and start distributing IQ tests for people who buy the bus. I’d rather go awol and fish for weeks to finance honing, overhone and skip all mechanics than pay 12k for a bus which is gonna give a return of 4.5k - chest costs + 1/50 of lvl 2 weapon

the issue is not many have 1560 alts and the game encourages you to just farm 1-2 HM only.
best bet join a guild run form static with a friend or 2 on discord join multiple groups.

The pool of endgame characters is extremely small and maxed out credit cards RMT will get 1st pick. Personally, I have only 1 character at 1560 and no way in hell I’m going to hone my 1540 to 1560+ anytime soon. Sure as hell not gunna do it for my alts. It still costs too much. Hope people realize the ugliness of Korean games. Encourages you to make alts. Then nerf hone shards. Do nothing about gatekeeping and still give masses shit RNG forcing them to buy overpriced goods on AH that no filthy casual can afford. Time moves on and get gatekeep by title, lvl 10 gems, LOS30 cant afford no. Make a raid OP hard nerf it to shit tier, but make sure the Gear req is really 20-40 item lvls above.
Brel HM is actually quite easy at +18/19 armor. +17 Armor get fucked. Community translation oh its hard. No its SG asking you to swipe or no life hone more to play raid as intended. Give me a break normal patterns 2 hit KO it gets old quick then reset.
You do make a good point, old content kinda dies passively but here your express only gets you… checks notes 100 fkin item level below entry to the highest raid, and then the cost to close that gap spirals out of control lol

Not really sure what my thoughts are on Mario, tbh…but to me, these are things that make me sigh when I think about doing them:
Typing tests. I haven’t failed once without lust gauge on Vykas in the month I have been doing her, but it’s still something I don’t look forward to.
Kakul maze. No I don’t want to screen share to finish a mech that is just slow and boring.
On the other hand, I also hate sheer ARPG things like massive AoE spammed damage such as Argos G3 and Valtan G1.
Valtan (G2 not G1; I hate G1) is definitely one of my favourite fights in the entire game, and wish they’d stick to things akin to that rather than going to far out of the box it’s no longer an ARPG for 30% of the fight.
If you have the motivation to progress and perhaps even have friends these things are just small roadblocks, but people I know are quitting (again) and all I’m left with are these things. It’s moreso my problem than the game’s; the social aspect really does add an additional level of annoyance.
Not sure I’ve said anything of meaning here, but those are my thoughts.
Lol take a closer look at those 1475 “Scrubs” they May carry your ass up lol… Ive done some clowns with 1475s that yeah do not skip much but we go from mech to mech with not much garbage inbetween and clear deadless…
Last week being a 1480 lvl 5 gems on my alt roster GL my clown group skipped medu on g2 and m4 on g3 with just 1 bingo lol
I’m aware of that, sometimes I get surprised with how good they are. But I don’t gatekeep, I accept almost first 3 people who apply. Almost, because even I have some criteria and if 2 people apply at the same time, naturally, I’m gonna pick the better geared one.
