My main just finished Rohendel and is sitting at 513, made a new character, and skipped the story up to meeting Armen with his cart.
The window shows the character is eligible but when I select it nothing happens… it’s like a broken button that you spam with no result. is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?
You need to go to your stronghold and talk to the knowledge transfer npc on the character you want to boost. Once the character you want to knowledge transfer gets Song of Return early on in Pridehome, they’ll have all songs available to your roster and will be able to teleport there.
So followup to the OP’s question because I think they may be having the issue that I’m having but explained it differently.
I’ve completed Rohendel as well, 500 GS. If I visit knowledge transfer on that character, it shows Rohendel complete and available.
When I switch to the alt I want to level and get to my stronghold using the song, it ONLY gives me the option to Knowledge Transfer to North Vern even though I’ve completed all the requirements and have the gold for it.
@BabiesWithRabies is this the same issue you’re having or can you just not KT at all?
I’m pretty sure you have to do one and then the other. I don’t think you can skip any of the transfers
no im using my main trying to knowledge transfer to my alt? am I suppose to be on the alt?
no you aint supposed be on alt, you need be your main and then select alt on list who you want it transfer… there is nice videos on youtube to explain how it works…
That was my issue… took my character far enough to get sheet music then went the stronghold with the alt and started the process
