Not too sure what server you are playing on but no support is turned away having 3/3 to Argos. None. Having under 3/3? Maybe they take a 2nd look at them or are like a disappointed invite. Having all negatives…it is still a maybe.
On mine they are still paying for supports to join regardless of engravings and are cool with underleveling for further phases.
how to fix?
give support classes viable dps specs, then add more support classes. that’s really all you need
i would’ve main’d a support class, but my friend group already had one person playing support, and we just thought having 3dps and 1 support is a better comp than 2 support 2 dps.
i am sure a lot of support players probably are playing with friends too, and since a group of 4 really only need 1 support player, the ratio is of course going to be skewed to have less support players available for content
Im a support main and I most definitely did not rush anything. I broke into 1385 and havent moved for a week as I pushed my pally up to 1340. Odds are not stacked against us, we may have crap damage but its not like the storyline is threatening enough to gate you. You will still clear the story, clear your daily chaos and daily guardians. I can see a small argument for tower being really frustrating as a support.
Generally speaking, the groups that are looking for supports would take a support with 3/3. Yes support gear can be expensive and you will languish between engraving levels for a bit, but as long as your core stats are mostly in order no one is going to turn you away except the sweatiest. And even then, I’m sure they would rather take a 3/3 instead of sit in queue for another 30minutes.
You just assume everyone is strictly standing at the honing buff guy every day and if they arnt then they must not be playing the game 
. Thats such a small minority of players. Majority are out there playing the game working on horizontal content. You also literally just confirmed exactly what I said. Yes, its gonna take 2 months from getting t3 to get that high up. Most people have just hit t3 in the last couple weeks or are still in t2 almost to t3. Youll see more supports pop up in about a month or 2.
I said its become too difficult to reach 3/3/3 for most supports due to the price gauging thats taking place on support gear. Yes, people are turning supports away for not being maxed the fuck out. Its literally written all over the forums. I never said supports that are maxed out are being turned away

3/3 is not maxed out…its literally bare minimum for any class that knows they have two slots for engravings. *hell I even said supports are taken lower than that. Done it the last few weeks with less on DPS jobs.
It is kinda tough to take you seriously if you are saying that people are turning away not maxed out supports and also that not enough exist in the exact same post O.o
Got my Main (Sorc) to 1370 and now considering swapping to my Paladin as a main… Gonna take some time to get through the 1340 deadzone.

If they add some option to change your main to a support, imo, a lot of players will do the swicherino (now that they know how hard is to get support). But for a player that just started Argos 1 or 2 weeks ago, there is close to 0 chance to reroll.
The thing about the price gouging is it is happening from other supports. They may be dps mains who just get a lucky drop on their support alt and try to sell it to upgrade their main. Either way, that item was likely dropped by a support and sold by a support. There isn’t a berserker or gunslinger out there that is rolling desperate salvation or blessed aura on their drops. That item wouldn’t have been rolled if it wasn’t on a support. Its not as much as class issue as it is a gold squeeze with everyone playing trying to get a piece that will sell for 10k+ but sifting mostly through dismantled junk.
In terms of gearing you really shouldn’t show up with like four pieces of jewelry in domination and expertise. That is the same regardless of class though. You can actually pull a little bit of endurance on your support. Its not the best but its far from the worst. You can’t just show up with 45 spec, 145swiftness, 600 domination, 300 expertise.
It is far better to have your stats in order, which generally speaking is your swiftness and specialization as a support. 3/3 isn’t the end all be all, especially when groups are literally advertising for supports. It is just at least minimum effort to have your stats in order and have the ability to reliably heal/buff your team. Your heals might not be as strong as they could be, you might not be as tough as you could be, but you can at least pull your weight.
You can hit 3/3 from nothing but equipped epic engravings and a 6/6 stone. It really is just a reasonable minimum.

What? Lol. Do you know how many people are in the waiting room, not interested in the current two supports but would jump on support train if Artist came out? I’ve already said that it wouldn’t fix the entire issue. But it CANNOT hurt the cause.
How do you know for sure? I think this argument doesn’t make sense at all.
Imagine if now our class number is the other way around, that we have 13 support classes and only 2 DPS classes that are berserker and sorceress. Do you seriously think that adding a new DPS class such as deathblade won’t increase DPS player numbers?
I personally don’t like beserker or sorceress, so if I only have these 2 options, I would not play an DPS; however, I do like the playstyle of deathblade, so if deathblade was added in that scenario, I would switch from support to DPS.
Similarly, it is possible there are some people willing to try support but just dislike bard and paladin.
And what is your thought about the release of paladin in KR? Do you think that all paladin players in KR were originally support main already, so the release of paladin had no impact on the number of support? That just doesn’t make sense.
Adding a new support class will more likely to increase support numbers.

If you pay attention to all of the Artist threads, the people responding within them, the actual poll that was made more than one time and then watched any youtube video about Artist and looked at comments, you’d see your numbers. I’m not about to count them all. Just use your eyes.

This is OMEGACRINGE and feels extremely flowcharty. If Artist was slated to come out, you would be here complaining about being in the waiting room for the Lance Master.
Artist and Aeromancer are the only two classes that AGS doesn’t have in their build.
They could release Scouter (Machinist), Lance Master (Glaveier), Summoner, Arcana (Astrologist), Destroyer and Reaper (Scyther lol) in a single flip of a switch. Unless they have extreme updates to the game, I can’t see them releasing Artist until these 6 are released first.
