Well thats great, but it wont solve the issue, this is just an opportunity for artist players to push their agenda of releasing the class, and I dont blame you.
I’ve got a 1385 ready to be launched to 1415 if someone wants to fund me. I work weekends only and will commit to raiding up until the clown raid’s release.
i ll play a bard if i get a fully geared one at 1415 for free, else i cba gearing one
not my playstyle to main sorry 
make a pass like that which you can only use on bard or pala, maybe that would help

the problem isnt community inflating the prices. The reason it is inflating because of shortage. All the support build items are very hard to get. Also because honing rates are very bad at 1340-1370 even if u research the 10% buff. They really need to buff the rates higher especially we get higher ilvl content, so the problem is catch up mechanics are bad. Sure we get events to help out, but they arent good enough when honing rates are around 15%-45% like the rates drop really hard at each point.
There is also the huge fact getting budget gear for supports is costly cause of Pheon cost doesnt scale depending of the cost of the item makes people doesnt wanna play support even more.
It wouldn’t solve it BUT IT WOULD MAKE IT BETTER
How much better will it be ? Is everyone going to push/main support as soon as Artist releases ? It’ll still be a minority (myself included as a support main), right now we’re roughly 3 to 4 out of 5 parties without a support, maybe that might bring it down to 2 to 3 out of 5, but it’ll still be a HUGE problem.
This is exactly what I said before, we really need the honing buffs man. THERE Are people still not even 1415 on their mains, so they can’t even gear up their alt support because they have to push their main to 1415 first. Why AGS is so greedy there’s still 25+ gear that whales are going to whale anyways.
Players always asking for things:
- Release Argos
- Don’t release Argos
- Give me Honing buff
- Give me more power pass
- Give me another powerpass for Support
- Release Valtan
- Don’t release Valtan
It’s always the same forum players, just take a look at the posts they write.
I’d say it again: If you want a Support START ONE, this is a player issue, it’s the same in Korea and AGS/Smilegate doesn’t have or can fix it for you.

yeah let me spend 3~4 months grinding my butt off to get to 1415, by the time you actually reach these levels the fade will probably be dead and you just wasted time and effort over nothing
it’s almost as if the forum has players with different opinions 
I think the middle ground here is, if you keep dying don’t run grudge/cursed doll.
Also, if people wanted to play Support they would be playing Supp, same as the ones that wanted Glaivier and saved their farm for Glaivier and the ones that wanted Destroyer and are already 1415+ with Destroyer.
You NEED a Support but you dont WANT to play a Support, and you believe Artist release or a Powerpass will fix the issue.
Artist will just make the players waiting for Artist that are already playing other class to switch to that, but most of those players are the current supportss in game.
No one playing a DPS main will switch to a Supp main, those playing DPS are doing it because they want to main DPS, but they don’t notice they are the issue and they are victims of a problem they created themselves, while the only thing they are doing to prevent it is SPAM the forums for unrealistic petitions like support events, honing buffs and such.
This issue is like bots, here to stay and if you really want to do something about it you should start a Support instead of starting yet another post like this.
nah! they are crying about that smilegate need to relase x and y dps class atm.
Few of them dont even grasp that while need top notch gear and engraving as dps (right class too) to be invite to pug.
Then they come to forums complain that they never get invite.
Everytime I do a pug group Im picky af because I can be, nice huge pool of dps to choose from 
Those “I give you Gold if you join” are the biggest baits.
If you have an above average group with people 1450+ and everybody stacked out with 3/3/3/3 engravings you will easily get your supports. The ones paying you to join are 3/3/1. I’d rather join a group that has XP and oneshots the boss than wasting hours in early P2 for gold.
Ya, probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in an MMORPG. There is a model that has been used for ages and everyone enjoys…lets ruin that and let everyone pretend to be dps, but these guys aren’t full DPS, they are supports…their dps sucks and they are boring.

KR is still short with artist so i dont think theres a fix unless you force your guild mates to main supports.
yes, it’s giving people incentive to play a sup, telling someone play a support for half a year to reach valtan because today people are willing to pay isnt really an incentive, no one is wasting months of play time on a character they dont wanna play just because they may get some gold which they wont because by then the fade would have died.

They clearly stated MORE than enough people was 1415/1445 ready for the release of Valtan on schedule they planned, how is it possible there s not enough supports to play the content???
Im SURE they did check that the dps/support ratio was enough for them to be able to state what they stated!!!

It is what it is. Sadly and sadge.
The problem here is they CAN help fix it, we will never be at a 1:1 dps/support ratio… however there are steps that can be taken to relieve the issue. For example: Implement incentives for playing a support in matchmaking a la the Roulette system in ffxiv (maybe more weekly gold once a week? Additional support related accessories drops with desirable engravings such as Expert & Awakening?). Currently playing a support is playing Lost Ark on hard mode for the initial level 1 → ilvl 1415.
I have a 1340 Paladin, but I have no incentive to hone him further as getting to 1415, I just achieved on my main and it was HELL. My time is better spent elsewhere on horizontal content or in a different game if getting a support for a piece of content is going to waste hours of my limited available time.
