Latency/ Connectivity Issue

Before the 5/12 patch, the game ran very smooth for me. But after the 5/12 patch, I have faced spike and freezing issues when tried to log in the game. The spike in fps 80+ fps to 1 fps every few seconds. Slow loading led to freeze and crash the game. The character selection screen will not load
What I have done:
Checking and resetting my network
Verify data file integrity
Disable area/system chat in-game
Tried all the tips from AGS post for fixing connection issues
About to go uninstall the game and reinstall it

So far nothing works and it had been two days in a row (after the patch) i am facing this problem in connection. I don’t know what infrastructure changes did they make to prepare for Valtan that created this connection issue for me. I have been playing since Launch and nothing of this sort happened. Please help !!! (Screenshot provided for character selection slow loading)

I’m sorry to know you’re having FPS drops.

We can try the following:

Uncheck XP from the Normal and System Chat tab settings if you have leveled your Stronghold to include Battle XP.

If this doesn’t solve the issue, check for software/graphics card drivers updates and verify the integrity of the game files.

Hello, nothing works yet, whenever i tried to load in its freeze the game

Is this happening with all your characters or just with an specific one?

I mean can you access with any of your alts or you can’t even select a character?

Actually, it is playable right now just a little bit stutter but I can make it. Verify the file works if I face any future issue i will let you know @Santoryu Thank you for helping me!!!
