Why should Sorc be a problem?
Sorc is S-Tier DPS. My Main is Deadeye (A-Tier) I got barely rejected.

Oh my… Reading this makes me firmly stay with my decision of treating this game as single player one with occasional people around. I’m a new player, just hit lvl50 on my main, started chaos dungeons solo for stuff I suppose I need but not sure why, totally overwhelmed by systems within systems within systems but I like the game style, combat, story (I enjoy questing) so I think I’ll stay. Already got asked why I play the class I play (my main is deadeye, pistoleer) because it’s trash and blah, blah, why my roster Ivl is like it is, do I have alts (yes I do, paladin but prefer artilerist and sharpshooter) I ignore those comments but boy do they get on my nerves. This topic shows exactly how this game is new player unfriendly, I’m not even going to find out what those raids are because I’m not interested in elitist kids who forgot they were new once. Don’t get me wrong, I know how mmos work, been playing them for 20 years but just… wow. You guys know how to make new player totally not interested in this game surviving long time. I’ll just treat it as good diablo like single player game until it lasts or until I get bored. Just… wow.
Or… .you make your own group and look for similar minded people and/or ask for help beforehand so the right people will find your group.
thats never gonna stop the answers simple, just make your own party it always works!

Deadeye Pistoleer is pretty good - mine is Enhanced Weapon build.
I tested for comparision in Trixion. Both builds are equal strong.
Try to reach 55 lvl (It will getting faster if you still continue the story quest) and collect all skill points. 55lvl skill gives 10% - 15% flat dmg.
Roaster level is a way to filter out p2w ppl

Oh another reminder why I make statics in MMOs and never pug.
Yeah, sorry about your encounter OP, but you really do only have few options.
- Gear up past the gatekeeping requirements.
- Make/join a static.
- Continue as you are, accepting you’ll get frustrated from time to time.
Because people are prejudiced towards sorc or have bad experience with them. After valtan released, in week 3-4 I had 5x3 gear and it was still taking me 2 hours to find a pug party.
Hi, could you show us your engravings, stats, and gems? im thinking maybe is not the roster, but i want to check it, for me when we need a dps, i dont care about the roster because many ppl can play with only 1 char, they like it and is ok for me, but i care about your stats, if you are using a class and that class use spec with crit and you are playing with swiftness and endurance (its an example) i will not accept you, minimum gem lvl 5-6 and prefer lvl 7 to hard mode, 4 engravings is fine, 5 engravings is really good but we dont care about it for now, for brelshaza will need it or x5 + 1, but dont think you will use any engravings, for my group you need grudge (is not optional), if you have curse doll and keen blunt weapon is perfect, if not have it we check what are you using, if you are dps and are usign like heavy armor or some engravings who dont use your class, sorry but i will not accept you, if you have legendary accesories is ok, but at least be using the valtan relic set and the normal one if the vykas one is still missing, agos set coul be fine with 2-set and one last thing but not less important the sinergies, we need sinergies for the party
Maybe you are going to think that this is too much for them to accept him, but it is my group and I always seek to do it in the best way, the only thing that cannot be assessed is the quality of the player, then it will be tested there within the raid, if we have to teach them I have a lot of patience, but just as I like to teach, I hope that the person learns quickly to advance with the group, have a good day
yesterday was the first time i left a argos raid in p3. There was one ultra toxic annoying guy who always called out my name in chat by every small mistake (which doesnt even lead to a wipe), constantly blamed me for not shielding cause hes the best player ever and spamed the chat with my name. Long story short, i simply left the raid and gave a shit about p3, not worth my time to discuss with those idiots in a game.
And i will do it everytime from now on if ppl start being annoying, this game should be fun so behave like normal ppl
If you’re truly an excellent player, the game has tools at your disposable to avoid this problem week over week.
They’re called “guilds”.
Now I understand you mentioned you’re a solo oriented player, but realistically, the content you’re trying to do is not “solo” content.
So you have to bend a little yea? A talented player like yourself will have no problem getting picked up for a good static at this point. Hell you don’t even have to join a guild. There are plenty of resources out there between forums and Discords (both server and official) where people are constantly recruiting for new statics now that peoples alts are pushing 1460+.
If you don’t utilize the resources available to you, it’s a little like queuing into matchmaking and complaining that everyone else is shit isn’t it? That’s kind of on you. You can avoid random pug party experience every week and are choosing not to.
Failing all of that. Just make the damned group yourself. As a talented Sorc who has cleared all these raids repeatedly and know all the mehcanics down cold, surely you’re comfortable raid leading and handling Sidereals anyway, so why not just make your own group?
for now yes you are judged upon your roster level and current gearset along with engravings. Once the crying stops and they put in the DPS meter that will be how you are judged you will have to prove x# on the charts or you aren’t going to be allowed in!
Or you know, people can stop crying about how they’re being discriminated against and make their own damned parties.

Arcana only needs lvl 10 skills for red so this is false. They only need like 374 skill points min for almost optimal damage. What the damage comes from is the tripods.
Baffles me every single time I read these posts. All it takes is to create your own party or heck, even hit the matchmaking button. And you can progress/try to your hearts content on your own terms. People feel entitled to be invited even if that group has tens of other people sign up who have better stats already
Because people are dumb, and will try to gatekeep whatever they can. I pug every raid at about 70 RL, and I get accepted. Something tells me this is more about your build than your RL, but hey if it is about RL just make your own group and understand people gatekeeping anything in this content is ridiculous. Valtan and Vykas are doable with a full 8 of 3x3s at ilvl.
