I understand you. But you really pushed yourself with 12 chars. I think that 1chaos /1 guardian per char and actually having 4 chars that can earn gold as limit in this game would be better.
Cubes are utter trash. More mats should be possible to get via side content and not mindless grind.
It really depends on your character. On my better chars it will take 1h on worse 1.5h.
This is the only thing that i agree on, give us more options, like the battle royal island on KR it gives mats
This Kid is has caught a severe FOMO… you cant save him.
But man its funny to see them panic, thinking they cant keep up if they miss 1 day of farming.
Why dont we all have some fun, and keep telling them that they CANT SURVIVE unless they farm 24/7-365
I wonder if he is one of those that say “i won’t be able to catch up to Brel HM its impossible without swiping” and then you see his characters and all of them are at 1550 but he is sad cuz he can’t get all of them to g6 lol
The biggest problem here is doing everything unrested on 12 characters, so of course that’s gonna add up timewise
Rest bonus is 66% of the rewards for 33% of the work which is a damn good deal if you ask me, especially to save time which seems to be a big problem
Also too I myself have cut my roster to 4 characters, with possibly 5 pending Aeromancer release (she may just replace Sorc entirely, not 100% sure)
I have my main at 1550 while working on slowly getting weapon to 19
Sorc is 1521~ and a Paladin one Brel weapon conversion away from 1520
And my neweat recruit, GT Bonker, at 1477.5, 5 hones away from Brel
And 3 alts 1450-1460 for Lopangs
And everything I do is on rested, and hell, I’ve even been skipping doing every available Legion/Guardian raid I can some weeks along with, oh god, not logging on at all some days
The sheer horror
I’ve spent money on the game (because remember you pay with your time or money folks), mostly for pheons, but now I’m in a spot where I can take a break and do something else, which I have been
You’re wanting stuff to change but not realizing the core of the problem, which is you’re getting burnt out doing this stuff every day for hours at a time
Cut down some characters (make them just lopang slaves), take advantage of the rest bonus system and take a break before you come back here giving another long post about how you’re being forced to quit the game from something entirely of your own doing
I also recommend Valheim to play, 10/10 would get ambushed by trolls and wolves again
my personal roster is bad but i made a mistake of utilizing stronghold farm to get orehas + having bad honing luck.
as pure f2p I’m limited to 6 chars, I do chaos/guardian rested on them & it’s fine. 2 to 3 times per week only. Also all different classes to not get bored quickly.
Yeah Stronghold Farm always seemed like a bad go to me, especially hearing about the bottlenecks
And I’ve had my fair share of bad honing luck too (Paladin seems to be my problem child), yet my main was surprisingly smooth to get to 1550, so small victory there
People really need to start realizing that SG wants you to log in and stay logged in for as long as possible to get you to spend money
However most Global players tend to pick up on something like this quick and go “yeah no not happening”
Combine this with the fact that this game is not a “looter” at all and abysmal honing rates to get ready for Akkan
And those dopamine hits with all those feel good chemicals that possibly make you wanna spend money go away real quick
They gotta do something to keep that dopamine rush going, and it has to be different than “spend in the store to rage hone or buy a skin”
Are you seriouslly arguing that it is his fault? It is a fact that there is too much homework?
Even if you run just 6 characters and do them 2 by 2 each day for full rested.
When you add 6 Brel runs 1-6, clowns and 1 other + chaos dungeons, + cubes and boss rushes + islands + boss/chaos gate everyday.
Make the calculation yourselves and tell me how much hours do you spend in the game per week and per day to finish all this. I Highly doubt you do less then 3 hours per character per week. When you add the lobby waiting, loading screens and occasional hic ups… and just plain waiting for “events” and stuff to start.
factor in doing card runs, pvp, GvG, GvE
Add in a loipang alt or 3… and see how much those add up.
Almost everything in the game besides the raid you do becayse you have to, not because you want to.
And sure you can not do them…but they you could also not play the game.
I still need an explanations how doing 2 of the same things per day per characters improves the game experience.
I agree with everything you said and i understand why you made so many chars. Ignore the bad comments above saying that it s your fault. It s coming from people that still don t have LWC 18 and not even full gems lvl 7. Many of my friends left the game cause of burnout and people that still defend 2x chaos 2x raid daily are the first ones that will leave when the ship, or should i said the ark, will sink. The playerbase is dropping like crazy and if they don t do something the game will surely die when d4, blue protocol and TNL will come out. Have a nice day !
So thats all the content game offers and MAKES you do and you dont like any of that. Why are you playing this game?
probably why people are dropping out like flies.
The thing is it’s not boring if you don’t do it on too many chars. I am playing 6 chars while 2-3 if them go rested and I love doing chaos and guardians every day. Especially on my 2 mains which are 1575 and 1567 ilvl. I am always sad when the second Chaos dungeon is over I would gladly do more of them. My remaining roster is 1543, 1525, 1520 and 1477(Ayaya)
the way game is designed won’t change. Korean style. But you want to keep your sanity & play more efficiently or burnout ? that depends on you since SG/AGS won’t do anything. Either do stuff on rested, do different things, take some breaks etc or just leave don’t let it get to your brain
I understand why you are playing 12 characters, as some people do want to play competitive and do want to play this game longer than 30 minutes per day, unfortunately this game is designed in every way to feel like a mobile game and waste your time with the smallest of things starting with the G simulator that finally got fixed with the latest QoL.
I am all in favor of a change where you can do the content more times than once with one char per week like in upcoming Blue Protocol so that the chaos and other boring stuff can be skipped, or at least for a class change ticket but it will hardly change for tier 3 content, maybe they will start listening to people for tier 4 content and change some current core systems, I mean it wouldn’t be the first time an MMORPG completely changed after they almost shutdown and than saw a huge success.
It is because of the content I DO enjoy (raids), that I soldier through the annoying and boring chaos dungeons and boss rushes and cubes and all the content that doesn’t really require any skill and provides zero challange, except on how to not fall asleep doing them. And I did. I literally fell asleep during a chaos dungeon and yet when I came to it it was finished/cleared.
The game encourages 6 characters, since thats the gold earning number of characters.
Also, tradeable mats you get from alts arent made for honing your main. Its OK to use them sometimes when you lack a few mats for a gate push, but most of the time its only gonna get you off of thr natural progression path (remember, you cant use your alt shards, can you?)
No excuses. You 've been FOMO-ing unbelievably much. You Survived to tell the tale.
Now change the tale ending xD
So you made 12 characters despite only 6 of them earning gold and decide to play them everyday or every few days with rested now and its to much? Simple solution stop fomoing and play at your convenience. While i agree dailies are boring nobody is forcing you to do them. Instead of crying to ags about it make better choices or become the casual you wanna ignore
Stop FOMO !! Stop FOMO… people… please… the core design of this game is to make you fomo or bring up your wallet.
