Compensation is a money driven decision. After all customer satisfaction increases the chances they’ll pay money for the game and when customers are upset - like they’ve been lately if you noticed - they are going to revert to the compensation model they got us used to.

People that pay will keep paying especially those wo already payed a lot because they feel like they invested into the game. Irrelevant if you give those people compensation or not asmongold will still spend thousands on the game same goes for other wales. why you dont understand is that even if i tell you you cant udnerstand. look im not in the game i wlll not be in the game for 4 month and i am not cheating in any way right now. even if i return to the game i wll not cheat again. we see that hundreds of people are still doing rmt untill i return to the game this rate is so high that amazon cannot deign to detect and ban all of them at the same time otherwise there will be another %15 decrease in player base. alsohalf a year penalty is based on first violations and many players were only penalized for 3 days before they changed their policy to impose such penalt sanction. of course it wonkt solve the problem cuz there are still people out there doing it after all my ban wont solve the problem. finally you can never be happy no matter how long amazon punishes players you probably wouldnt be happy if they even gave players a perma ban you are the poor person who complains instead of just enjoying the benefits what i mean by benefits here is not buying gold from 3 part sites. i dont recommended at all. is to take advantage of things that bots farm and sell cheaply. for an example grudge was 4k gold that time bots could farm these book by doing thronospire. so as i said i was sentencedto half a year it was someting i never expected i was very surprised and thats why it took me a long time to accept this penalty period. i dont care right now. cuz if Because if I had foreseen that I would be punished for half a year, I would have been willing to spend legally and wait that day and 3 days. but I didn’t know so I couldn’t stand the 3 day gold hold restrictions so I had to cheat. understand or not do not care. for example. After 1 week, I accidentally entered the normal game where I should have entered the ranked game and decided to show a bad behavior, when I realized that I had entered the normal game and I asked for one time to end the game immediately, I fed my opponent and helped him get ahead. but meanwhile, my team was still bad, they were feeding their opponents willingly or unwillingly, but I was reported and received a two-week penalty in a way I never expected. I had only done such a negative act once, and then I corrected my behavior and decided not to deliberately feed my opponent again. If I had been conscious of the punishments and had acted like this, the situation would have been different. So the point I want to come to is that I haven’t been playing a game like League of Legends for 2 and a half years, and after a long break, I returned to the game and was penalized for two weeks for a single mistake. Of course, I submitted a ticket, but they send me a screenshot showing my in-game messages and behaviors. In short, when I lost ark had to cheat, I bought gold thinking that I would get the same criminal sanctions that hundreds of people were sentenced for 3 days, and I regretted it.

It’s not my opinion, it’s a fact. It’s the very definition of a company. On top of it this game is a p2w gambling machine. If you want to argue this point you need a shrink.
Customer satisfaction is crucial to increasing profits. They are not stand-alone concepts. You can’t be saying they are offering compensations because they “love us very very much”. When the customer is unhappy they need to fix it so they open their wallets more.
It’s not even an opinion. I’m playing the game with the full knowledge the game is trying to rip me off. This is not an issue.

When ags/sg are giving compensation meant to restore that customer satisfaction, the player gets to decide for himself if it’s enough or not. You don’t have a place in that discussion. Decide for yourself it’s enough and that’s it.

Infact i think negativty and being the oposition is the main driving force behind getting a good discussion that benifits everbody and getting things to change. Because you guys where complaining about the descisions they made which doesnt make sense in any way because initially with their first compensation 95% of players benifitet from it. Then with the second one these players benefitet even more and the players that got 60 pheons from the mail fiasko ond spent them benfitted aswell. For the rest of the players they got a legendary engraving bag which is worth around 16-25k depending on the server (grudge price). And that is after the update 70 to 100 pheons (at least on my server). So people got goods worth around 130 to 160 pheons. THAT IS WAY WAY MORE THAN PEOPLE GOT INITIALLY. Not even factoring in that the people that got pheons and then lost them afterwards even if they went minus still had a great advantage because they got the pheons before the tripod change. People where asking for AGS to just give everbody the pheons. And AGS gave out way way more than that just in form of other goods to not fuck up the economy by giving everybody the pheons on one day. And it annoys me a lot that people still complain after this. So i am stating my opinion here that if you really think that AGS still owes you something and that they “scammed” you. Then you either have brain damage or you are just not thinking before talking (my opinion btw). All this is not even factoring in the huge ass update that they pushed on wednesday that gave us a fuck ton of free stuff in form of the powerpass to 1445.

One example of this is what happened with new shadowhunter demon form, almost all the playerbase begged AGS to keep new demon form untouched as it was in the Kr version, there was a HUGE hype about it, but, Guess what happened? they ruined it making it black AGAIN.
So no, you cant have a nice concept of people working in AGS, they just follow a woke agenda and doesnt matter for them if they ruin the game as long as they follow such agenda (remember what happened with the rings of power or star wars, its just the same with lost ark).
Players NEVER asked for race changes in NPCs, NEVER asked for censorship in outfits and skins, but they did it and keep doing it and lie blatantly stating stupid excuses such as “new SH form is made that way to avoid PVP/raid confusion”, or at game launch they said they wouldnt touch anything but then you find all the censorship and race changes.
Nothing is for free, and a good or bad concept is EARNED, and AGS has earned by their own merits a very low concept from the playerbase, if they did things well it would be just the opposite.
To be fair, like you I initially thought the change to Shadowhunter’s demonic form was due to representation issues (what you call “woke agenda”). However, after taking a closer look at my Shadowhunter, it looks like the model is light-skinned, but there is sort of a dark gray hue covering everything from clothing to skin. So I don’t think it has anything to do with making it dark-skinned.
As for making some NPCs dark-skinned… Well, I support that idea.
I disagree, if that were the case they shouldnt had race changed many NPCs .
That shader was set and is stated in other post in forums as the AGS answer to the question “What if someone creates a black SH and then becomes white while transformed?” so they had the “brilliant” idea to turn SH demon form black. It doesnt matter the VAST mayority of SH characters are white they had to keep a very small MINORITY happy at the expense of the vast mayority. Also there is the fact they censor outfits and skins, If that isnt being woke then I cant say what it is.
In a perfect world demon form should have the same skin tone as the human form but well, it seems people in AGS cant even dream of making such a good solution, a REAL solution should have LISTEN the playerbase who asked if not begged AGS leave the new SH demon form as it is in the Kr version, but it is clear given the “solutions” AGS implemented now, making the new SH transformation black again, they rather be mediocre and lame.
Race changing characters in video games or movies is just inheritly racist and doing a disservice to the black community. They are telling us that the only way we get representation in media is by taking a white character that already exists and turning it black. They are straight up telling us they are not able to come up with nwe charcacters for us because we are not important enough so they just change an already existing character into any minority and call it progressive. Do you know why Black Panther was so incredible successfull and everybody hates the new little mermaid and the new velma because they made new characters so we have characters we can relate to. As I said, looking closely at the SH it looks nothing like a dark-skinned character in the racial sense. It looks like a dark grey hue on top of the whole model, clothes included. Like a dark, shadowy emanation. So, I think players approaching the change as if it were “some woke shit” made a mistake.
The issue now is that if players approached it from the viewpoint of race, reversing the model to look like the Korean one as many want would probably be a bad move. After all, even if the change was not made with race in mind, the criticism to it was.
