It is of my opinion that the way these Legion Raids are setup needs a change and I think a lot of people may agree here. My approach to this will be unorthodox but it’s the only thing I could think of.
Allow us to re-enter a previous gate with a new group of players, but rewards from previously completed gates during that week are unobtainable.
I ask for this because there’s a lot of us out there still trying to run alts through Vykas but the quality of players has gone downhill tremendously. Not everyone has time to create a static group for an alt running through Normal Vykas or even Hard tbh. A lot of people dropped Vykas when Brel released so now there’s very few that actually know the raid mechanics.
My example from an experience this week:
My Reaper is 1445 4x3+1 with split stats Spec/Swift. She’s got lvl 5-7 gems and I’m running LWC card set on her. I can sidereal all gates of Vykas. I made a lobby and I checked players before allowing them into my party, however there was one player, a Bard. (WHAT A SHOCK) I took them even though their character profile looked sus. We completed gate 1 and upon completing that we tried to Proceed the raid and the Bard said in chat “idk gate 2 and I don’t wanna mess yall up” and just left the raid, jailing all 7 remaining players in G2. Anyone that has a brain knows that getting out of G2 Vykas jail is rough, but it’s even harder in Normal. Now I lose gold income on this character for the week because some a hole decided to leave raid at that point jailing 7 people. I have been unable to find a decent G2 since, most are learning parties and frankly I don’t have the time to sit through that. I also don’t have the resources to just hone my Reaper to 1460-1472 to avoid this kind of crap. This isn’t the first time I’ve been jailed in G2 due to similar behavior either.
So, how is it fair to 7 players that we get stuck in G2 Vykas jail and unable to clear the rest of the raid for the week because of one shitty person that probably just wanted to leave so they could go help their friends out of Vykas G2 jail? I really think something needs to be done about this kind of behavior or a solution to this be implemented.
