There is an issue that constantly happens when I try to excavate (I guess it’s not excavation exclusive, but affects the whole life skill system). Usually for excavation, two shovels are used, one for normal excavation and other for the minigame. I used to have an epic shovel for normal excavation and a legendary for minigame, a while ago I dropped a relic box so I made a relic shovel, unfortunately it did not get neither minigame difficulty or a higher minigame reward when compared to my legendary shovel. I thought it was unlucky but fine, hence I would use the relic one for normal excavation and continue to use my legendary for the minigames, then minigames suddenly got a lot harder and I thought it was a bug for the minigame, since I swapped to the minigame shovel before doing it. But it continued till the present moment when it’s still happening. It made excavation a lot more stressful and annoying. But one day my relic shovel broke and it was minigame time, so as usual I swapped to the minigame shovel and surprisingly the minigame difficulty perk applied.
Conclusion, the bug is that only the perks of the higher grade tool are considered even if the tool is unequipped. the only thing applied to the equipped tool is durability. If possible I would want to see this issue solved, since it just makes the QoL in life skill much worse. Thanks for the attention.
