How can people read if the in game reward is different than the patch notes

Its not different from the patch notes. You just didn’t read it. It literally said in the patch notes to use it on a character under 1100.

Lets say u have 1 tier 3 character, u pick that character for rewards… next you know you are forced to do lvl 1,2,3,4 guardian raids and waste a month of your tier 3 gardian raid materials to get rewards.

Point me in the patch notes where was stated for all the honing benefits? I entered, I saw that it gives some shards and leapstone which weren’t much to make me play more my T1 alt or make a new alt and set it to my T3 char which I play a lot. If the notes stated, we will get double honing + 20% extra success + cheaper honing, guess what…
If they tested their patch, first thing go & claim express pass on main char (1300+) it wouldn’t let you since ilvl > 1000. Which is not the case
What is “a lot”? List them.
Because there are dozens of posts on the forums right now illustrating that due to the lack of clarity that caused them to misclick. Even the support team them themselves admitted the system of the express pass was poorly implemented and one of them even stated that they made the same mistake as the players of activating the express pass on their main. You probably failed statistics so you don’t see how this isn’t an issue of “people don’t read” but rather an issue of lack of information.
Tell me, how many cases of people selling leapstones to the general store NPC thinking it was junk? Zero. Why? Because the game very clearly communicated to the players that leapstones are essential for honing and level progression. Now back to the question at hand. How many cases of people misclicking the express pass thinking it wasn’t solely meant for alt characters that are t1 or t2?

Smilegate is mainly responsible for there not being a clear description on the super express page in the game to make sure anyone that didn’t read the update notes didn’t make the mistake. How do people not realize this?
Why oh why do many keep carrying the water for Smilegate and blaming everything on Amazon? Is Amazon responsible for all the excess rng in this game as well?

Kinda true, but it was probably tested and aproved by AGS. The final call should be on AGS side… I won’t mention for all the dialogues and subtitles which are so different from each other. How this go through…
Ya, well it should have said a brand new char at 302, and then explained why. Cause even using this thing on a 960 is a fucking waste of this pass…

That character will be granted level 302 gear, and have an opportunity to complete express and bonus missions for significant honing and progression rewards.

Literally, if people did what the actual majority of players did and not the majority of forum posters did and read what the pass actually does, you guys wouldn’t be having this issue.

not everyone reads patch notes, and first thing u got when u loged in to your main was express mission chest showing tier 3 mats… so no wonder so many ppl just clicked their main (also some dont want anymore alts and wana do this with tier3 char), and now we are beeing punished for not having information displayed properly (like guardian raid misson level 1-4 needing souls, bonus honing rate, etc)

thats irrelevant, they said its for you’re alt, the players that look in game and say " oh i need those legendary card packs and gold!" cards and gold is roster wide, so why are you taking this on your main? Are times this rough as human beings we are really say reading shouldnt be a necessity?
I like how people keep saying amazon should admit they made a mistake, but the players also saying this cant admit they made a mistake
