They also mentioned that if you only have a T3 character then go ahead and make a new one and do the express pass on that one.

What if I already used up all my alt slots and all are T3? (this is not my case, but I’m sure there are a lot of people who are at this one) Should I buy a new slot for char? To be honest they had to implement this event 1 month ago! And you won’t change my opinion on the patch notes. I’m starting to think they give this task to some intern, which didn’t play much games and don’t know what it’s happening around them.
Im pretty sure anyone who has played this game enough to have 12 t3 characters would either read the patch notes, checked to see what it does, or not care since all of their characters are t3. You didn’t have to add the part of it not being you because I know that already. That is a super rare thing and no one like that would be on here complaining because they didn’t use their head before doing something dumb lmao.

You dumb or what? I have read the notes, but based of the small information there with huge margin of guessing from my side to what it is…
I stated that I want in the notes not just this:

Three fucking additional rows of information should have been enough for people to make their decision.
And gamers are simple, we dont need some marketing word as “SIGNIFICANT”, we need exact and simple information. I can guess that if they stated the honing buffs at it is, people would have been hyped. Now they have outrage in the forums!

both are reading. No different. No need to be emotional, its a conversation we dont know each other personally. gamers arent simple. You are simple. You need things put in a different way for you to comprehend. You need a special way to receive information or else you dont understand it.
No honing buffs until after valtan, so when the players get their raid, u get ur honing buffs, let them keep outraging on the forums until they understand that simple fact

I mean people should just figure it out. The context is there… it’s not hard to look at it and just put things together. If you don’t know what it is find out what it is before making a hasty decision. 
reading is hard i guess… All this time irrelevant criticism about the game is just gonna waste your time, find something better to complain about. It’s not their fault that people don’t look at patch notes and you’re the ones saying that it was their mistake. Just turn off the screen buddy.

First you point my comments in other threads on different topics, not related to the current issue and make a statement related to it.
Second I can guess you didn’t read any other of my comments related to the current topic in at least 2-3 threads.
Third I don’t whine for honing buffs, if you have read all of my comment history in the forums, you could have seen I’m alright as it is. I stated that I want the information to be represented as they did before release. Because “SIGNIFICANT” doesn’t say anything (maybe it’s a significant BS), it’s free interpretation from the reader and depending on your game status, it can be even useless!
me speaking about honing buffs isnt to u directly i just like to remind people on forums stop asking for honing buffs then asking to push valtan back, not how that works. also u said speeks. that SPEAKS volumes for you

The “current issue” here isnt an issue, its a baby rage , honestly mods u can close this post now, OP doesnt want to read, cant type correctly , but knows how to “speek” about current issues. This just aint it i think, the education system has failed us

I think the patch notes are fine as is. They can go to as much detail as they want or just simply say that event is to help lower alts or new players catch up.
But in game event should also say something along those lines, because not everyone would read patch notes (though the players who care enough should).

Well whatever I learned my lesson, at the end I will just delete my alt T1 which I didn’t like, instead of pushing it T3 to farm silver with this event. I like the game, but I will think twice before spending more money into it. And for everyone here who thinks these notes are fine as it is. I hope you get in the same situation like the rest of us in the near future. Piece out, have a nice day/evening or whatever.
First of all, “T1 and T2 items along with many other things that you wouldn’t need for T3, knowing its all bound”: all those things were nowhere to be seen ingame PRIOR to selecting a character for the express mission. What was shown was a preview of, what we now know is the Stage 4 complete reward chest that included gold and T3 mats and items.
Furthermore, “It said all over the place to claim this on a character that was under 1100.”:
It did not say anything of that sort in-game. Not once, not anywhere. Nor did it say that the stuff given was character bound. It did only in the patch notes, and a day after in the disclaimer chat note in-game.>
I feel like the people that happened to have read the patch notes that day are now on some kind of high horse, going around telling people how dumb they are. I truly wonder if those people would stand with their viewpoint as boldly if they happened to have misjudged the express mission themselves and were in the same boat as a lot of people are right now. Would you still say “it was completely all over the place and obvious, I was just dumb”. I assume you’d reply: “Yes I would!”, but I have my doubts.
At the end of the day I can say that the implementation of this event was poorly executed, the information was misleading and at best incomplete. I am holding myself accountable for not reading up on it. I am hoping they will do a better job next time because it’s really not too much to ask for to clarify the intent and the progression of an event in-game rather than assuming everyone reads patch notes, and I am definitely going to be more cautious and double check because I am now aware that I can’t trust what I see in-game.
