hitless is a dps loss. if hitless were to actually be the norm, you’d be out of a job since you can just make things like a blue GL run yearning and that party is higher ceiling dps than having you in there being a shield bot. you have more responsibilities than just shielding and dropping a heal every so often just like a dps player has more responsibilities than casting a skill here and there if they feel like it.
yeah meaning they’re fulfilling at most 10% of their responsibility because they feel the remainder doesn’t matter. the difference between a shield bot and a real support player makes a bigger difference than 0 gems and level 10 gems
ok, i say … everybody do mistakes dosn matter what you play if DPS or SUPP but if you wanna talk about people, who do those mistakes, be fair and talk about both, and if someone here wanna tell me how much he dont need supp, its PURE LIE and you know that >D
Let me burst your bubble here. Supports do not even 2-3% of the total damage for the raid. The difference between you guys fully damaging the boss and afking is practically nothing.
Secondly: support is not hard. I’m thinking about deleting my paladin because it’s just so fucking boring to play.
You think dps has only 1 real job and then you think they must be easy. No. This is true for almost every mmo out there, dps is generally the hardest role to play because the skill ceiling is close to infinite. The ceiling for support is much lower. It doesn’t matter if you have 5 more things to do… all those extra things are so much easier.

In this case you spoke about only the supports and I answered it that why should I keep a bad support.
In my previous comments I said, that there are bad supports but also there are really bad dps too.

one thing we both have same, yesterday i am deleting my pala too and keeping my bard coz is much more fun for me and give /in my opinion/ more usfull staff than pala but second side, when i relog to my favorite DPS class, i feel more chill coz have more time escape from all mechs and doing DPS because all survive things doing supp and i can enjoy more yellow numbers so in y opinion, if you play supp, you need focus for more things than DPS, its again my opinion and i respect different thinking
real is that i am defending supports because i hear negative comments only about supports and nobody talk about bad DPS, this is 50/50, one topic is how bad some supps are, i created topic how bad are some DPS, and i always play and like with both, and i always say depends if those people know mechs or no, aaaaand i always say i am never kicking people like you, its a agressive gesto, i just asking for leave and find learning group, if they ignore me, i leave and do with another group and that tactic is more un-toxicity and more sucess for my 7 chars

Let me fix it again for you, on a bards perspective
We are the same in essence, a party actually does more DMG with a support and making the group chill since we give dmg prevention tools and heals.
IMO the reason we have a lot of ‘bad’ supports is by necessity, the game is designed with them and we are having a support shortage. Ppl are filling a demand and because they are not being gatekept they don’t care about appearances…
That says more about the other players tbh than it does about paly. Took one to brel G1-2 (he had title from brel 6 so i assume he’s a decent player) with my mates (we were curious how good dps paly is) and despite having some of the best gear in the party, he barely did any real damage.
