Some of my friends that play on the KR version of the game say they already have character transfer already part of the game that is a paid service.

As Amazon pointed out in the announcement, the new region is mainly aimed at players who havenāt been able to create a character or doesnāt mind switching.
I believe that most of us who are founders and/or are deeper into the tiers will stay just as before.
At most if Smilegate makes a server transfer for the client then perhaps some Zinnervale and other big server players will move to smaller servers within the region.
I doubt they will clone a whole region even if it was possible, sadly.
What Iām saying is I think we have to hope that players that the new region is aimed at will switch and that they are plenty. So that the queues go down.

I agree this could be an incentive for people to move and should be logistically probably possible.
Correction: European union have 447 million people while Europe have 750 million. Double surprised Pikachu face.

My thoughts about the issues of the new region:
- Purchases: crystals on the market and/or founder packs
- Twitch drops
- Character progression: characters at 50, t1 and t2 content, power pass already used, achievements and adventureās tome.
- And finally, the worse part: moving alone to a unpopulated zone (dead region)
A short term solution to mitigate the damage could be:
- [REQUIRED] Giving back the players their purchased royal crystal and founder packs content. (I think, it is not difficult)
- Giving the twitch drops again. (It can be difficult)
- [EXPECTED] Giving an amount of royal crystal to buy a power pass can be an easy solution. (The players get some value for their efforts, so they can decide buy a power pass or not, but they must do all the way until 50, t1, t2 or t3 content, again, to unlock all the content with the power pass, but I really donāt expect all the players agree with this)
- A nice compensation would be really appreciate, but until this part it is only to repair the damage already done.
My concerns are the long term solution. How to convince a enough players to move?
I really expect the team from AGS is up to the task.
The ONLY way people will move en masse is if AGS clones entire EU Central over to EU West.
But there is already a problem with this, a several amount of player claimed their packs and purchased things from the market or moved to another server losing their things, these people want a solution, not a band aid to cover the shame.
Clone the EU Servers and during maintenance have a website where people login and choose where they would liek to play EU West or EU East than based off of their choice have the script delete character data from the other server database during the maintenance.

Will the new servers be hosted in the same location as current EU central servers?
In other words, will someone from west EU have less PIN in the new WEST EU servers?
Will it be a functionality in the future?
I agree and i also think the NAMING of the new servers are a huge problem. Why west? Now new players from east south and north Europe still join central, while German french and English players also join central since their communities are there ā¦
Just naming it Europe 2 or whatever would be better then west. Especially as u cant Devide Europe in west and central logicalā¦ Cause west would literally only be like 4-5 nations then

Yes, but this is more of a medium-long term interest. This feature cannot be implemented in the next few weeks.

You will surely get far more people likely to agree to the move, if they are offered everything they have paid for or earned.
The more i think about it, the harder it is to make people move. The longer we play the more gear we earn, the more seeds we find etcā¦

This needs resolving ASAP, I am sure this illegal taking money for a service and then not providing it. I state again this is your fault not ours, you knew pack number sales and you should have closed the servers once they hit cap and not let them get into the mess they are now.
Founder pack was advertised as early access to game content, 3 days head start was included in the price of said package which YOU failed to provide due to poor planning for launch, this in my book is unacceptable and fraud. Plus its locked to a server so we cannot even start on a less populated server and you offer us a few bits of what we paid for if we move, again unacceptable.
I have tried to get refund via steam but due to sitting in a queue for days on end they wont budge. So what are YOU going to do about it? probably nothing as that is what you seem do be doing so far, so all i can do i listen to the seagulls in the queue for 7 hours and piss and moan about it on here when i should be playing the game i paid for.
Amazon you should be ashamed of yourself absolutely wrong on every level.

as i said now for the third time im willing to swap region if it helps but only if i get my full investiment back
founder packs, twitch drops, crystalline aura and royal crystal and i wont accept a less version of those.
im not here to lose or gift my money. simple as that.

They never said they want anyone to move to EU West. They want people to stop coming to Centra. This is the way to stabilize things, redirect in influx.
Sure they might offer some incentive to move, but Iām thinking they will skip that and let the players make sacrifices.
Or it may go completely another way around. Iām less and less inclined to play the game. I would like to play 3-5h/day to do stuff. Because of queues, I have 1-2 late-night hours left. This isnāt some online shooter, the game is designed to be time-consuming.
I just say it or they give me the founder pack for another region completely again, + my twitch drops or I donāt move, I invested money and a lot of time to lose everything.
And I know that the new region will not solve it because in the founder servers nobody is going to change because we already have a lot of equipment in them, in addition to the fact that most people in the founder servers go in large groups since surely before entering in the game they already had a guild, so you donāt have to convince 1 person but an entire guild!
I disagree with this, itās fundamentally unfair to not allow the paid content to be available when a whole new region is released. Many players are located in EU WEST and should be allowed to play with friends without penalty. Claiming the rewards/items was done before any announcement of a new region, which is a significant change that effects what people would have based decisions on.
Further to this, it currently feels like those who have invested in the game and are likely to be the longer term veteran players are the ones who will continue to suffer from the poor decisions on server sizing & quantities from day 1 as queues are unlikely to change without a significant migration of player base.
Invested players are stuck due to investment of time and money, F2P players due to friends (playing on same server as their early access friends). So queues will never drop unless groups of friends quit entirely or capacity is changed (servers can handle similar amounts of players seen in early access as a minimum).
Therefore, incentive to migrate is required & unfortunately results in the need for cloning or transfers. Otherwise the only people on EU West will be completely new players, F2P players or those with little to low investment due to current queues.
That then leaves EU Central players (where they live) forced into EU West to avoid queues & EU West located players who are invested stuck in queues.
Cloning servers using the backups available on new infrastructure (imagine EU Central data was corrupted, it would be backed up and put onto a new build) is surely possible and clearly best for all.
